Geez , I give up trying to know where this is going with Stokes.- --CBS had a 247 recruiting update and they were saying it’s still a very wide open recruitment. the interview was with Travis Braham from 247

He was saying for about the past month Kentucky has been perceived as the landing spot and most analysts still ; do believe he will end up committing there but Travis was saying that KU was still a very strong . legit player in this recruitment. He says that there is still really strong interest from KU AND from Stokes camp really strong interest from Stokes camp towards KU also.

Travis did say that as of right now he STILL thinks he commits to Kentucky but for sure do not count- -who the heck knows

Our Ladies are up 3- - -1 at the half in the NCAA soccer tourney. Should be 3- - -0 , but our goalie got a little careless, still doing good --long 2nd half to go

@kjayhawks Mercy man , not sure what you been watching but it’s not Darryn. He absolutely will be drafted from 1st to 3rd in the draft. I just got through listening to a group of NBA scouts last night and every single one of them talking about DP could of played in the NBA and would of done very well. This is coming from Scouts that evaluate talent for a living and have yet hear a single one say that he wouldn’t be the # 1 or 2 in the draft.

If he was play in a game and turned loose by Coach he would score 40, analysts are saying he will score 40. Plays well so easy, I’ve heard many many many people talk about how it makes it look so easy , doesn’t break a sweat, Sorry just wonder who your watching bit IT’ NOT DP

I was readimg different KU articles today. Came across a article wish this NIL would of been in effect at the time , we could of used it for some of our past players that transferred out that we sure could use now, Dickinson really hurt us.

There was this article that talked about previous KU players :- -Zuby went from relly nothing here at KU is averaging 22 points per & 8 rebounds-- -how about Udeh ?-- right now he is averaging 11 points & 12 rebounds and 3 blocks pe ggame- - -and just not getting the right people and knowing they are a bad fit, Coach came out and said our /boy from Alabama was a bit fit–well this year he is averaging 18 points a game-- Rylan is Averaging 12 points a game -those two were just not Bill Self style players and the way Bill runs his offense was not good fits for them - -we sure could of used them–would LOVE to have Zuby was named to pre season Big East Player of the year. The Ladies with a nice win , roster is really talented although got a little sloppy in 2nd half we won 75-60 , the girl I mentioned our 5 * led the way with 27 points-- her name is Julia Davis really good had one shot that was a fade away jumper of one leg lol dam pretty sweet , then Nicols another 5 * followed up with 22 points and our other 5 * finally getting a little playing time coming off an injury good to see-- Davis is out of Blue Valley North & our other 5 * is out of Oklahoma her name is Parks-- then Nicols nice to have 3 - five stars on the roster

@kjayhawks . - - – Well perfect clarification as to why Coach didn’t go for it on fourth and two. Just read from an article by Swain , said as the decision was being thought over he was told he could not have Jalon on the field for the next play even if he wanted to, He said he couldn’t put him in even with by calling a time out like you can do if it’s a helmet coming off- - - -you can’t put a player back in the game afer an injury called by he officials. Decision made by that

@nuleafjhawk Don’t even trip your fine. I’m the same way as you are and you should be able to express how you feel. You can see Real KU fans we are people that our passion for Ku get’s us going when you feel they aren’t playing up to their capabilities and yet you see some people here and other places that wear these Crimson & Blue glasses tinted a little to dark and are just afraid to hear the truth sometimes and think nothing Negative EVER and if you say anything negative then they start to attack you thinking your not a true Ku fan.

Guys , can someone please what the hell was that we had to watch in the 2nd half last night ?When NC came out and hit us square in the groin we folded like a cheap suit We acted like we never heard the word defense or how to play it , there is no excuse for opponents to be shooting 75 % at any point of a half. Then for some reason we decided not to try and run any kind of offense, they just came down and jacked up a three after three after three attempt clanking them or even worse missing everything . Then we see Flory doming up MIA for most of the 1st half I mean not even getting the ball or well just nothing. Scored a quick six points in the first half then poof No pointd not even a rebound I truly wonder hoe much he has progressed in the off Season Pretty easy to fill your box score line when playing teams such as Green Bay but what you doing against true quality opponents ? Then I think our going to see some changes in the starting line ups pretty soon right now seems like we are playing three on five again right now, Trey and Kohl are really doing nothing right now other taking up space I think against Gb he had five points and one rebound and Kohl scored like three and is one for eight from the three. I think your going to say Jason much better then Trey rebounding wise and scoring wise & I think Kohl will be coming out soon, not sure who is taking his place but needs to come out and come off the bench for awhile. We will have a decent Season but no World beaters unless things change

In an interview he listed Oregon- —Michigan St-- -& KU as warmer in his interest.— He tok official visits , BUT did not take visit to Kentucky , I would think that climates them. He broke down what he was thinking about three schools Oregon- -KU & Michigan St.- had quite a bit of quality good things on KU— - - So anyone heard anything have we moved on/away from him since Adkins or do we still have a solid shot- -Anybody heard anything?

All the talk about NC front line being an advantage for them , might be the difference in the game. It very well might be but I think this might be a case where we see more minutes from Tiller along with Flory at the same time might be able to help out more. I’m OK with that, I think he is going to be a solid playe for us as the Season goes on

Times like well he was going to play AAU , then he wasn’t- – - Then he decides he wants to play football , then ends up with a suspension from multiple games because of altercations with fellow students , not sure -was it football team mates or other non sport kids- --I think Norte Dame High School is his fourth school in four years, - - questionable academics

Just think he might cause distraction within the team- --might be a cancer ----question is would he be a black hole , you know what I mean ? A scenario where he gets the ball and it;s not coming back,- --Will he fit with the roster. I could easily see conflict when things not going well between him and Coach Self -I just think the more I read and hear I just really don’t think the positive out weighs the negatives.

I still think in the end it’s not going to be a concern because like I’ve read and heard he is just still using KU as a chip to get bigger NIL I’ve also heard that because of this latest episode that there may be other teams enter into the scene because KU - -and or Kentucky may back off not wanting the headache , others saying HEY w will take you —also have heard he may just go over seas go o Europe and play for a year until the NBA draft. Just don’t believe we need the problems lot of of issues, think it needs to be a pass

Was talking with my Dr ( KU Grad ) was talking about KU & Coach L & we both agreed that these People saying fire Coach L-- --Coach L needs fired are nothing but complete idiots-- just idiots.

Oh sure it’s easy to automatically say OH hell fire the Coach-- -fire the Coach like that’s going to solve everything, while in reality all were doing is siting the program just further back all over again. All your doing is breaking up the Continuity , your killing everything with Coach L has established he has done so much for the University and we are about to just throw it all away.

Coach has brought in better recruits , He knew that in order to compete we as a part needed better facilities that’s all a major piece in recruiting now days we were the laughing stock of the conference the Nation with the old facilities w use to have. Recruits go and see our competition place then come here and see our old piece of crap Stadium we use to have. -Lance is the best thing we have had for such a long time. Yet instead of people realizing this they would just rather blurt out FIRE THE COACH- --FIRE THE COACH.= =Hate to tell you but there is a lot more to it then just firing the Coach.

Looking to see if anyone else has heard anything or not. So was wondering about Tryan Stokes, Last I had heard that was over that Stokes was moving away or we were no longer being considered with so I said well rime to move on then.

Yet now I’m hearing we are not out of it by far according to some. Now like most here I still think he ends up else where but going to the Kentucky Board which I had heard was the likely landing spot rumor/lot of talk now he is not going to end up there and most think he is coming to KU.

Talk is Stokes Mom is NOT a Kentucky fan at all , that in fact she was at the Louisville/ KU for their exhibition game the same night Kentucky was playing, and yes I know he signed a Nike deal so people might say Nike is not going to let him play with an ADIAS School but like people said their is kids that have signed with one shoe but yet have played at another & Kentucky people saying that quite a bit.

General talk is too that even though he grew up in Louisville he is just not into them as much and talk is this is between KU/UK and many just think he not going to UK. Some UK people think that even Mark Pope and Kentucky has secretly moved on and feel like they will be fine. Like I said like people here believe he is Kentucky I too still think he is Kentucky that I reckon until the fat Lady takes center stage nd starts to sing I guess there is always that chance , we shall see.

This game was hard to watch for a lot of it. @Kcmatt7 I think Lance is fine as a D-1 Coach , it’s the other Coach’s that need attention. McDonald isn’t cutting it , he is the Coordinator and it needs work -a lot of work on the defensive side.

Lance was part of the group of course in bring in our Michigan group , Marshall- - -Warner who has since transferred and a couple of others, I have faith in Lance- --he has a couple of assistants that is a different story.

I think with the heat he has been catching though I have to agree with others as many openins that have come up if these idiots keep harassing him he might just say scre it and leave for another job. Then the one’d who are bitching can really bitch when we fall right back where we were at before Lance showed.

Lance has done a lot for this program that I for one greatly appreciate

Several things about the game/team – - -One thing I thought KU pretty much was in control of this from the word go till the end. Only one little stretch they led. - I took a peek on the Louisville boards all said KU looked my polished/comfortable to what they were doing, & of course all were saying DP was a really food player/ the Real Deal.

Now I don’t think it’s a stretch to believe that if Self would of let him play more he could of easily probably finished with 40. - – I said earlier I think this team we have is going to cause some real problems on the defensive end. Lots of deflected passes , lots of stolen balls/opponent turnovers.- Length , Length , Length my friends cause real havoc.

Depth, guys we have DEPTH, quality Depth , go back check the box score guys with 12 points , 10 points , 8 points etc , etc, - -some guys that can actually play defense

I think there is a bunch of people that has under estimated our team. Ya I get it this doesn’t count – right , got that , BUT count or nor you can’t take away the level of competition we played , Louisville is not no St Mary’s Sister’s of the Blind Plus on their home court. They had their fans there ready to go but KU never really gave them the chance. Every time they trim down to 10- - - 8 points KU always answered right back to 14- -so hang on to your shorts guys ready to enjoy the ride
