Was talking with my Dr ( KU Grad ) was talking about KU & Coach L & we both agreed that these People saying fire Coach L-- --Coach L needs fired are nothing but complete idiots-- just idiots.

People saying these things don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground. Oh sure it’s easy to automatically say OH hell fire the Coach-- -fire the Coach like that’s going to solve everything, while in reality all were doing is siting the program just further back all over again. THAT’S not the answer. All your doing is breaking up the Continuity , your killing everything with Coach L has established he has done so much for the University and we are about to just throw it all away.

Coach has brought in better recruits , He knew that in order to compete we as a part needed better facilities that’s all a major piece in recruiting now days we were the laughing stock of the conference the Nation with the old facilities w use to have. Recruits go and see our competition place then come here and see our old piece of crap Stadium we use to have. -Lance is the best thing we have had for such a long time. Yet instead of people realizing this they would just rather blurt out FIRE THE COACH- --FIRE THE COACH.= =Hate to tell you but there is a lot more to it then just firing the Coach.

@drgnslayr I agree but some people are saying they are still mentioning that the reason he hasn’t committed is he is using KU to drive up his anti money wise with others, at this point guess just have to wait and see, would be nice if he did but the world will still rotate if he doesn’t

Looking to see if anyone else has heard anything or not. So was wondering about Tryan Stokes, Last I had heard that was over that Stokes was moving away or we were no longer being considered with so I said well rime to move on then.

Yet now I’m hearing we are not out of it by far according to some. Now like most here I still think he ends up else where but going to the Kentucky Board which I had heard was the likely landing spot rumor/lot of talk now he is not going to end up there and most think he is coming to KU.

Talk is Stokes Mom is NOT a Kentucky fan at all , that in fact she was at the Louisville/ KU for their exhibition game the same night Kentucky was playing, and yes I know he signed a Nike deal so people might say Nike is not going to let him play with an ADIAS School but like people said their is kids that have signed with one shoe but yet have played at another & Kentucky people saying that quite a bit.

General talk is too that even though he grew up in Louisville he is just not into them as much and talk is this is between KU/UK and many just think he not going to UK. Some UK people think that even Mark Pope and Kentucky has secretly moved on and feel like they will be fine. Like I said like people here believe he is Kentucky I too still think he is Kentucky that I reckon until the fat Lady takes center stage nd starts to sing I guess there is always that chance , we shall see.

This game was hard to watch for a lot of it. Thoughts-- – Council solid — - -big boy did fair, don’t think he hurt us that much – not going to see the floor a lot but he still not THAT BAD 9 points- - 9 rebounds - - -Tiller solid again , give him a few more games he going to help even more , gets settled in.- still waiting for Kohl’s 3 point shooting to show- --Trey might be a little better 3 point shooter then I thought & Flory - --buddy- - you got WORK to do

Yet I just went to Kansas Athletics site – - pulled up our schedule and it shows how it is being broadcast --ESPN plus BAM ther you go takes you right to the game , that’s the way I did it most of the year last yr too. Of course I have has ESPN plus for a couple of years so didn’t need to subscribe but pretty easy bud

@Kcmatt7 I think Lance is fine as a D-1 Coach , it’s the other Coach’s that need attention. McDonald isn’t cutting it , he is the Coordinator and it needs work -a lot of work on the defensive side.

Lance was part of the group of course in bring in our Michigan group , Marshall- - -Warner who has since transferred and a couple of others, I have faith in Lance- --he has a couple of assistants that is a different story.

I think with the heat he has been catching though I have to agree with others as many openins that have come up if these idiots keep harassing him he might just say scre it and leave for another job. Then the one’d who are bitching can really bitch when we fall right back where we were at before Lance showed.

Lance has done a lot for this program that I for one greatly appreciate

@BeddieKU23 I re watched the game today and Council was shooting free throws and I had to do a double take cause for a second he looked A LOT LIKE Tyshawn Taylor I know crazy right ? but for a second he did

Several things about the game/team – - -One thing I thought KU pretty much was in control of this from the word go till the end. Only one little stretch they led. - I took a peek on the Louisville boards all said KU looked my polished/comfortable to what they were doing, & of course all were saying DP was a really food player/ the Real Deal.

Now I don’t think it’s a stretch to believe that if Self would of let him play more he could of easily probably finished with 40. - – I said earlier I think this team we have is going to cause some real problems on the defensive end. Lots of deflected passes , lots of stolen balls/opponent turnovers.- Length , Length , Length my friends cause real havoc.

Depth, guys we have DEPTH, quality Depth , go back check the box score guys with 12 points , 10 points , 8 points etc , etc, - -some guys that can actually play defense

I think there is a bunch of people that has under estimated our team. Ya I get it this doesn’t count – right , got that , BUT count or nor you can’t take away the level of competition we played , Louisville is not no St Mary’s Sister’s of the Blind Plus on their home court. They had their fans there ready to go but KU never really gave them the chance. Every time they trim down to 10- - - 8 points KU always answered right back to 14- -so hang on to your shorts guys ready to enjoy the ride

Darryn was responsible for six of them but he will be fine, this team like I said gonna play the hunter role this year instead of the hunted, I think people have just flat under rated us,— -fine by me.

@nuleafjhawk I’m beginning to think so. Why can’t we have a decent foot ball program. I’m sure Lance is catching some heat. Is it deserved ? - Probably some of it is anyways but not totally, today was just so discouraging I think we actually took a step backwards today.

A showing like we had today I’m sure is a recipe for flip from commits. No one wants to play for schools that play like piles of warm dog doo, I mean it wasn’t just one certain area today it was a team lost effort. If you saw you could tell the game was over in the third quarter walking around with slumped should , sad faces , I mean come on take a little pride dam.

Wow where to start, That was the most pathetic sight I’ve seen and am afraid this performance has set the program back. Jalon just saves his worst for K/State…- --I’m so fed up listening to Hanni & Lawerence trying to make up excuses it gets really old ( well it’s wet today , Jalen off throwing the ball ( hmmm didn’t seem to bother Johnson throwing the ball )

Jalon plays horrible throwing-- -got to be his worst game of the Season throwing the ball. fumbles the ball what ? - -Three times and his int?- -some of his passes weren’t even close

Another huge difference , Daniels spent most of the game running for his life-- -constant pressure. Where the hell is our protection from our O-Line. Daniels under pressure all day- -Absolutely no pressure on Johnson at all. For 80/85 % of the day he had time to make his lunch- -AND still time to eat it- -our D-Line - --Our O-Line sucks

Our Secondary sucks receivers wide open time and time again , there is going to be some heat on Lance- - - needs to be heat on O-Line Coach-- needs to be lots of heat on DK McDonald

Peterson is the real deal. they were saying they left him out most of the 2nd half to see how the others could respond with him out, Mercy the kid is crazy athletic

If we could land him with what else we got coming for 2026, would mean him re-classifying add him with the other one from 2027 if he would re-classify be a pretty sweet class.

@Crimsonorblue22 me too I’ve been kinda tardy this season and hated missing but they looked pretty strong last night. I think them playing this super rough non con schedule playing ranked team after team after team will help a lot - -I have no doubt we are making the tourney with our strength odf Schedule with who we have played and yet to play. Ranked teams almost every time out

@Jhawk69 I personally think our game against Texas @ Texas when w went in and beat them, the game Jarrod Casey’s name became known. That was a huge game and really think was the start of our turn around. – The game in Booth when we beat Oklahoma was a pretty huge game and very sweet. Two games that i think was very beneficial for our program and actually meant more to the program then K/State.

Now this weekend this will be a big game but for different reasons , time to put an end to the streak. Yet as far as being the biggest game of LL time at KU I just think the Texas game at Texas was much bigger. The game Saturday will no doubt be big in ways- – -breaking the streak and even more turning the tide even more with in State recruiting. we just kicked their ass for 2026 with in state recruits - -but typical response from their idiot fan bas of- - -well we wern’t recruiting that kid or he isn’t all that good, but yet before they committed to KU these kids were lights out. First one that really stunned the taters was JJ Dunnigan kicked them right square in the nads - -gotta love it.

I had been hearing that Coach has been impressed by Kohl, saying he was more bouncy then he thought , whatever that means , says he was afraid to get to the boards, not afraid to get dirty etc. Talk has been going to be hard to keep him out of the starting line up.

Therre is NOT ONE SINGLE PLAYER that would intimidate me or does scare me on that team. Jalen is just s good if not better them Johnson , he is the most over rated kid I’v seen in quite some time. What has he done that is that much better , head and shoulders then anyone else.-- Edwards is limited in play still not full speed by any means --They have played long stretch’s of crappy ball . I think I will take my chances and let the game play out , , thank GOD we do have SOME that live in the present and not the past

Scrimmages are usually pretty ragged - —just a bunch of free lancing/running up and down the court jackin up wild shots.

I quit going , was fun the first 4-5 years lot of attention on recruiting use to be a big tool from it.

Remembering the first couple ESPN was there or showed pieces because at the time it WAS a big deal, if I remember right Dickie V was there once not every Joe Blow School was doing this in the beginning and it started at.-- It’s really just Blah now and reserving seats having them of limits for some is Bull Shit, now it’s like for donors use to be first come- -first serve same way for BIG DADDY WARBUCKS as it was for you average hump your ass- sweat your butt off for forty hours to make ins meat FADDY come late oh well no sseat-- then no seat, just another example of trying to squeeze the every day Joe out. Hl half of the Arena is all reserved for Donors or what have you, screw that . these so called donors half of them sit during the game like that are an old couple watchin a tennis match. We score, go on a run they clap very politely a couple of times and then back to eating their crumpets.

Peopl here have mentioned wondering what has happened to our chant after we win in the waning moments of the game, used to be loud- --NOW- -you can hardly hear it and thats id if gets done at all. Sorry to hear that buddy. my wife and I have been through things like that too. My wife called me one afternoon when I was still working and said a guy had tried breaking in our back door right in the middle of the afternoon, not that uncommon in our area.

Guys , you know what ? When you look at our ladies volley ball record for the first glance you could think to yourself well – -- - -they have had an eh season, they are 12 – -7 - - -3 - --2 in Conference so ya under normal conditions that’s just an average year

Then when you look again when you see that ALL of their losses have come to ranked teams and I think five of those losses have went the full five games - -that’s pretty dam good, We do have a really good team. you just have to consider - --really young squad and a first year Coach and yet we have still done that well

KU as lost to these ranked teams : # 2 - - - # 8 ( two separate * 8 )- - - -* 12’s again two separate teams )— * 17 – – & * 18

We have beaten the * 15---- & * 23rd ranked teams, The Ladies have done just fine

@Jhawk69 lol. what K/State team have you been watching ? They are a VERY WINNABLE game, they have showed next to nothing with their very over rated QB. Johnson is an accident looking for a place to happen. Their program is a really bad spot right now. they are probably one of our better chances remaining for a win
