Certain Colleges still me actually have a richer history , and remain a blueblood if that College might not have that strong of belief in the NIL and or refuse to just throw money around as much- - then bigger brand school or not they will lose out to the more talented player in a lot of cases These players- - these more talented players are going where they are going to get paid more money whether they actually feel the other school less NIL is Still a better school- - -they taking that better deal.

Do you seriously believe that if all things equal straight across the board you can seriously sit there and actually say that players like AJ Bantysia the # 1 ranked recruit coming in next year if BYU hadn’t tossed all that money at him , you seriously believe he would of still committed to BYU ?- -If you do then I call BS.- -do you think if KSU hadn’t offered Coleman Hawkins the money they did, he still would of went there anyway ?-- Ya ?- -ok lmao. Back to the cycling where all schools or biggest majority of them go through cycles of down years and it’s just going to het worse with the distrubution of players across the Nation now- Big reason people see it more badly like with KU - -A Lot bigger brand-- blueblood , Historty- -when we have down year- -years when cycling people just can’t grasp reality.

Look at Kentucky ? Huge Brand Name School - -blue blood of blue bloods - -down years , always loaded with 5 * players and portal players , what are they doing this year ?- -hoovering around with eight nine losses- - - cycling, you don’t think they won’t er back ? -What about N Carolina ? - -Cycling Do these teams just suck ?- -umm no , it’s the other Schools now getting better elite players also. Your not ever gonna see anything again like what KU did with winning so many dam conferences i a row. You’ll neve come close to ever seeing a dynasty like UCla had- -It’s just got a lot harder with the Portal and NIL

Lance and the staff really our just killing it sounds/looks like in 2026 recruiting-- - rumor has been spreading that 2026 was Lane’s year in recruiting especially local in State kids which has been lacking in past Coaching staffs. – Not in 2026 , KU at this point I checked had a top 20 ranking for their 2026 class.

In 2026 so far we have the # 1 or # 2 ranked player in the State has committed name is J J Dunnigan – the # 4 ranked player in the State & ranked as the # 32 player in the Nation has committed name is Hunter Higgins - - -The # 9 ranked player in the State has committed name is Jayden Mason. On top of this read/saw today we have received CB picks for Tgren Parker - -( Athlete ) – then we have a CB down for Nate Sims -WR ( announcing his decision on the 23rd, & we are the favorite for him WR - -Then the cream from today is A 4 * OL Kayden Synder - - with receiving these CB’s means we are in really good shape. These three picks that all came in today came from the K/State analyst predicting these three are landing at KU.

On top of that we are in a really good spot for the # 1 TE end in Kansas- name is Ian Premer, has been to visit KU multiple times and Jr day , Coach is cleaning up in State , no more of out of State Schools coming in and swiping quality players right here out of Kansas under our nose If we land Premer- — would give us Seven of the top kids from right here in Kansas. - - also in on Josh Galbreath a Rb right here in Lawrence- then the # 1 player WR out of the State of Nebraska Amarion Jackson- - been to visit KU multiple times and Jr day.- -Sitting up to be a massive year in 2026

A lot of times you will have situational substitutions sub one player in when your on the offensive end , and then switch when your on defensive end- -I go with the it doesn’t matter who starts- -Hell you go have Pee- Wee & the gang on the floor to start the game doesn’t matter- -it’s who the Coach feels more confident/better that’s on the floor at the end of the game

The only answers I can give you advice would be , if your so miserable and disappointed with KU Basketball - -if you have such a dislike for Coach Self , then the answer I would think would be pretty simple and obvious. Just do yourself a favor , just go and cheer for ANOTHER team. Nobody gonna be mad at ya if you start to cheer for another School. - -Do yourself a favor I think what there is like over 300 Schools you can cheer for right ?

Should be asy to pick ONE out of over three hundred.-- Would be really beneficial for you , cause you less stress , help your blood pressure, Seems pretty simple, I mean your obviously stressed beyond infinity- -your dis-like for Coach Self is off the charts. -Why would ANYBODY want to live that way must be terrible.-- -Do yourself a favor— - GO be happy, relax enjoy. Flory brings a lot of energy to the floor. Yes, for sure he makes some Freshman mistakes, so much bounce he gets caught being out of position at times, he wants to block everything, having said that I think he is going to be a pretty good player when it’s all said and done.

I think he for sure is back for his Soph year, and unless he makes a HUGE jump he may even come back for his Jr year , how ever long it’s going to be fun to watch him develop

I know guys I just posted on this recently so I apologize here but I can’t help it. I’m so stoked about football at KU anymore , can you believe it?- --Football .

What this staff has done for our once laughing stock in America so called program where we were just happy if we could keep it close for a half. Now - -Now- -what Lance and his guys have done is awesome , Our Coach has come in here and shown that he is really invested to OUR football program. He saw changes and I mean major changes that needed to happen , Weight room , And a remodel almost complete tear down of the old shambled way out of date Stadium & facilities and it’s coming to life.

Lance came in and I still remember something he said , he told his wife after a game something that struck him and that was he says – - Look these fans are cheering for us keeping the game close – not that we won ( We Lost ) - -but he couldn’t believe we were cheering cause we had kept it close. - he made up his mind those days were over , we are now a competitive program at least. We can actually look forward to going to the game and knowing we can play with these teams - -be competitive and actually win many of these games .

Not only has Lance gotten upgrades done with the Stadium and other pieces BUT he and the Staff has worked their tails off and it’s showing we have gradually gotten better talent, better athletes , higher ranked players from all over the Country. Kids that ten years ago even eight years ago wouldn’t even allow us to talk to them - - couldn’t come close to get in their doors,- -Now ?- - - Now- - -Now not only are these higher ranked kids not only listening to Coach’s talks- - Some of these higher rated more talented kids are committing/transferring here to us.

Oh and you don’t think the things that are going on here haven’t been noticed by others ? - Think again my friends-- Our little brothers down the interstate at the Petting Zoo are HOT- -dis belief- - -frustration , whatever or however you want to put it , it’s ok. Bottom line is the keepers of that petting zoo in Manflattin are NOT HAPPY – not happy at all. Why ? – because they know their rein of their winning ways against us are coming to an end and coming soon.

Further proof of our turnaround is getting key commits. Our class of 2026 has a very good chance of being insane.-- Right now a of this point depending where you look we have either the 17 the ranked class in the nation. Or in the other ranking is the 21st best in the Nation for 2026 Another very key point is Lance & staff has finally been able to recruit and get talented kids right here in our own back yard from Kansas.- -No more of Iowa St and K/State just swooping up all the talented kids. The Staff has been able to get back and make that connect with Kansas High School coach’s and kids , been a long time from them just being ignored by KU. . As of today w have gotten huge commits from the following Kansas Recruits and they are good : -We have gotten the either # 1 - or # 2 depending which report you look at J J Dunnigan , Dunnigan is a 3 * CB – We have got the # 4-- -Hunter Higgins a 4 * Edge- - -We got the # 9 player-- -Jayden Mason a 3 * QB— -Then we got Nate Sims a speedy WR - he is ranked in the top 10 but I don’t have it , Think he # 7 - -on top of these guys we are in really good shape with these other kids from Kansas ranked in the top 10

They are : - -Either the # 1 or # 2 rated player Ian Premer you can just flip him and JJ either way good possibility of having the # 1 & # 2 rated both -most have him as the # 1 ranked TE in Kansas- - - then we have # 5 rated Joshua Galbreath r LB another 3 * - -then there is the # 8 ranked player a Wr/Ath --Tyren Parker a 3 *- -then the last one we got the # 10 rated player Kayden Synder another 3 * on the verge of a 4 * player OT.- -If we land these four which again we are in really good shape , that would give us SEVEN of the top TEN players from the State of ?Kansas-- Lance and Staff are COOKING.

Coach said that chances are we will see more of Hunter and Flory together, Flory being mobile and able to guard out on the floor.- - Love Flory being an athlete, King Mcclure told KU fans not to get used to seeing Flory long. - -I do think Flory will be NBA - -but I also think he will be back for his 2nd year , after that all bets are off lol.

Something is just not right. Another lackluster performance, like they just going through the motions. - -Something is going on, they just look like ehh. - -I dunno. There is no reason they should be playing these types of games with the players they got

Been surfing around watching other pod casts and fan base’s Been hearing quite a bit from them just like what we have been saying/ discussing.- -Other schools like Arkansas- - -Indiana - —Baylor-- -K/State - -& Gonzaga to name a few. s

These schools mentioning some of the same thigs we are like at Baylor. Their saying something just isn’t or doesn’t seem right , things just don’t fit. Wrong plyers for the system they are running Rotation needing changed, players that need to be seeing the court less & others seeing it more, then talk going on like wondering if something is going on /is wrong in the locker room. Like player disruption, kinda like AJ, there is a reason Aj has been to what seven different schools in the last seven years- - -a cancer- -just doesn’t fit. - One thing I have heard multiple times AJ is like a black hole the ball may go to him but your not getting it back.

Then you got Coach Cal, their fan base ready to run him out of town on a rail in his first Season. Fans saying he needs to retire that the game of Basketball has past him by , again player rotation With the players/talent he has and they are 0-5 in the SEC not cutting it

Then you have Indiana I do not know how Woodson is still their Mutiple issues Nil & Rotation and playing time

Then you have K/state and Tang, they went out threw all the NIL money trying to buy the best players money could buy, not caring about how they fit with other players just bought them up not thinking-- just not a fit – not the right fit , players not caring just looking at NIL. Terrble with the NIL and getting wrong players from the portal

Then Gonzaga , they started out just curb stomping Baylor, made you think whoaaa Baylor pretty decent team and Gonzaga kicks them by forty. Now look at Gonzaga , not even in the top twenty five- - they have issues When was the last time we have seen Gonzaga not ranked in the top twenty five ?- -Just a crazy season going on with this NIL & Portal Then

I am thinking the percentages of the game at about 55/45 % KU and that could be my crimson & blue heart doing the thinking instead of my peanut size brain doing the thinking lol.

I think it’s going to be an ugly game , with a lot of fouls. I think it’s going to be hard to get into any kind of flow because of whistles, Biggest keys to winning will be rebounding especially keeping Houston off the boards on the offensive end & for us to keep from turning the ball over , giving Houston extra possessions and 100% especially NO live ball turnovers.

One big reason for saying an ugly game is because Houston is # one in the defensive side & KU is # four. One other big thing is you just CAN NOT give Sharp any open looks . There has been a little talk about him being able to play because he messed his ankle up I guess in practice , but chances are he will play You have to try and run him off the three point line or get a really good contested shot at the least. I think he is shooting like 47% from the three - -him and Cryer will kill you off open looks. I think your going to have to switch off on ball screens and not get caught up if you try and not switch off , Cryer has a pretty quick release

Anyways having said that I think I will still go out a little bit , hope we come out play really well, avoid these dam slow starts --and hopefully with us getting going from the tip & home Court- - you know the Phog is going to be really juiced- - I’ll go out and say- -KU 66 - & Houston --63.-- -ROCK CHALK

Couple of things you may/may not know about the end of game from last night. Coach said he told the guys to foul on the final possession BEFORE the guy got to half court NOT after , and they didn’t do that. could of been costly. He said that’s why he doesn’t like to foul in those situations.

He also said about that last possession that the officials when they went to the table , they were only checking about the time NOT if the guy was in his shooting motion, saying that wasn’t something they could review even if they wanted to. - It was all about the time left.

He also said the officials said when UCF was trying to say he was in the act of shooting all the officials were saying Oh No , No , No . Things I myself didn’t know.

@drgnslayr Got to agree with part of what you said anyways lol. !st have to agree, was really happy with the way the guys played yesterday vey crisp , sharp- lot’s of movement and yet like you said have to be tempered some by who we were playing, be vey interesting if we can follow this showing up come Monday Night against Colorado, they actually played us pretty well in the Phog.

As far as Dickinson goes , have to give him props on this game Actually the 1st time I’ve seen true hustle and some emotion and sure he put up big numbers again- -but like I’ve mentioned before who was the quality of the opposition he was doing that against ?-- a smaller 5 , possibly not as athletic, can’t really see that being possible but size difference. You put a 5 same size , better athlete Hunter really is a no show, The biggest thing with him is sure puts big numbers but he negates all that with his just insane horrible defense, so can’t really agree there

But hey he did a really good job yesterday so major props to him for that , maybe he breaks out defensively from this.

One thing that showed yesterday looks like these guys played as a group , not individuals - -Hell AJ even was ok not great but serviceable The game ball goes to- - - DIGGY COIT, he was the one who was the spark that lit the blaze.

My GOD last night in Atlanta?- - whew- - For the second time the # 1 ranked player Dybansta – took on our # 2 ranked player in the class and Daryn did his thing, he and his teem won the Championship.

The 1st time they matched up DO went off for 32 points ----10 rebounds – -and – 8 assists, Dybansta went for – 28 points- - -8 rebounds

My GOD last night Darryn went off this kid is a STUD- -I SAID STUD never seen a kid like this in a long time. Darryn lat night scored - - 52 points - now the stats listed it with 16-28 fg- — 6/10- -from the three - -& 20/24 from the free throw WOW. , including hitting the winning three with 1.4 seconds to go- - -88-- 86 Darryn. -the two Peterson and Dybansta combined for 107 points

Dybansta line went- - 16/30 fg- - - 6/13 from the three – -& 11/14 ft.- -can’t wait for our match up next year maybe twice.

They said this about Darryn :- -Darryn got anywhere he wanted- - - He hit pull ups- - -finished at the rim- – - sneaked through ball screens - - always undre control – -always focused.-- Guys this kid is unreal and he is OURS- - for ONE year anyways lol

These kids before didn’t want to come to play for some crappy low football program and be part of a laughing stock of College football.- -Now they see commitment from the staff, look what’s getting done Weight room huge upgrade- - New stadium instead of what the hell ever that thing was- -we are starting to be able to get into the Kansas recruits win them over, where before wasn’t even going to the Schools to try and recruit high quality players- - ya we had a bad Season but wasn’t because of a shit show, it was where the defense couldn’t maintain leads for one thing- -I’m telling you this defense is on the verge of being nasty from the efforts and results Lance is getting – -I’m ready for football, good to see a competitive team again, be able to go watch College football in Larwrence again instead of a circus where the Captains use to say OK name your score at how bad we were getting our ass kicked on a weekly basis- - Lance is doing just fine

KU has now gotten commits from the # 1 or 2 player in the state depending which site you look at- 3 5 by 247 sports , - we have the # - 4 player in the state - -the # 6 player in the state - - # 9 player in the State – -& the # 11 player in the state

Plus we still have a really good shot at the # 3 player in the state-- - & pretty decent chance yet at the #-- 1 player in the state we get them that would be 8 out of the top eleven ranked kids in Kansas
