Well with Sarr to Duke (anything but official atm) I guess we just hope Williams continues to do poorly at the combine, lol? His measurements/first game were not very good.

EDIT: I still really want the guy. He was absolutely fantastic last year.

@BShark I always liked TT. He caught a lot of love/hate during his time here, but man he loved KU and he gave it everything he had. That 2012 squad was a lot of fun.

Hopefully he doesn’t shoot like TT in a dome though, ha!

I remember how awful I felt after the ending in 2003. Kirk and Nick’s ending. Roy going back to his alma mater. Uncertainty on Bill or where the program I loved was heading. Change is certainly terrifying, but inevitable. Bill Self exceeded my hopes of Roy’s successor and I’m grateful that I got to go to school during his tenure. As he has said himself, the program is bigger than any one person. I would hope you don’t stop being a Jayhawk because you don’t agree or like a certain outcome. Regardless of what happens in the future use your voice and remember what made you love being a Hawk in the first place.

@approxinfinity 5 years to play 5 years. Currently you have 5 years to play 4 years. This wouldn’t affect most of our guys as they have benefited from the covid rules that already gave them an extra year.

@bskeet Hunt was hacked all night. I do think he started to force the issue, and the “kick” may have been out of frustration, but egregious and worthy of ejection? No shot. The aftermath where the officials tried to reestablish control where they actually started calling fouls pissed me off more to be honest. I hate when you call a game differently half way through.

It may have worked out in our favor in the end though. Flory got some great big time minutes and the team responded. It may end up being some of that identity and resilience a team searches for.
