Love the way Devin replied to some things . - -Devin said before the Colorado game- -We let our pads do the talking for us. Devin respectable , class act, and really showed his loyalty when he chose to come play for us , as to when he could of had many other options , but he stayed home and has really been a huge piece to helping turn this program around. From the original post, I actually prefer the remake of True Grit over the original because I hated the Mattie character in the original and wanted her to die because she came across as such a whiny brat. I much preferred Hailee Steinfeld’s performance because she made Mattie more sympathetic and likeable.

Thinking about this a bit more… there might be another explanation for the giving the western sites the early games. Maybe all the staff and operations people are based on the eastern time zone and they know they lose two or three hours flying back, so the NCAA does this so they can get home at a more convenient time or to reduce/avoid overtime pay and lodging costs. If that’s the case, it’s a financial reason. I don’t like it because it seems selfish and prioritizes the organization over the players and the game. Actually that would be very consistent with the NCAA principles.

Turns out this team can be pretty good with a healthy McCulla’ and Timby knocking down 3’s. Just have to hope that keeps up (and hope Bill has a plan to adapt the defense for teams that can expose Hunter’s slow recovery on screens).

KU Women are doing well. Great to see progress since beginning of Bif 12 games.

I hope his mom saw him play Kentucky, she would’ve seen that coach taught him like she asked.

Before the injury Hishaw looked like a beast and I viewed him as a solid NFL back. He is still very good but not as explosive as prior to injury in my opinion.

Really no question Kevin is better option than a portal guy. I do think the ball sticks on offense when he’s in but it had gotten better by seasons end and played well the last month of the season. It is without question a championship or bust season now. We have a super tough schedule so we will find out how good we are early. It’s a lot of pressure but that’s why you want the older guys.
