@Crimsonorblue22 Based on history, I like our chances at Waco better than Stillwater.

@Hawk8086 This is what I was thinking exactly. – I mean these things for sure doesn’t justify, or make it any better for us, cause we lost. - But just like you I was thinking, actually we lost no ground, doesn’t make our loss feel any better two lost also. What’s so crazy is that the top three ALL lost on their home floors. – The ONE thing it did do was, the teams that was sitting on the fence kid of as far as the NCAA tourney goes - -these wins sure helped their cause.- -K-State, Iowa State, - -Oklahoma St The only scary thing is, we have to go to K- State -Baylor - -& Oklahoma St yet, those are for sure no sure wins, kind of fricken scary. I wouldn’t want to put money on any of them. K-State is gonna be pumped for the game because of a combination of things: Playing us within 2 at Ku - - Being big Monday - -Winning today at Baylor - -And the off the floor issues that we are going trough, these guys are going to be pumped up - -it’s going to be a zoo. We never play well at Oklahoma State - -seem like we play like crap. - Then Baylor just being Baylor. This thing is still wide open. I’m still trying to figure out - -WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? – In the 2nd half? – Someone tell me how a team can look really good in the 1st half and then do a 360 and look like total crap the 2nd. – -21 turnovers? - -Dam nd most of those wern’t forced - -they were just sloppy play. - -Then we out rebound a team 19-3 in the first half - and what happened the 2nd? - -I don’t know still shaking my head on this Another crazy weekend: -2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 17, - - Question is - - is there REALLY a team that’s just head and shoulders above everyone else? - - Crazy - - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@chriz said: @kjayhawks said: Really the next 8 games we got are as tough as a run that we have had a lot of years. 3 top 10 road games as it currently sets. We will know how good we are after this stretch. I hoping we can win all of them but 6 will be fine with me but we could go .500 if we don’t play well. We always have a spot in every season when we look mediocre and this could be it. So don’t worry if a few Ls show up. Except we usually crap out against mediocre teams when we slump. I think we get 2/3 here and lose one or two stupid ones afterwards. Hate to say I called it, but…

Starting 5: Graham, Selden, Oubre, Ellis, Alexander Reserves: Frankamp, Mason, Traylor, Mickelson And I think Greene and Lucas will see minutes because of certain matchups, players being in foul trouble, and HCBS being frustrated with a player.

@konkeyDong “Embiid smooths over so many of those rough areas for this team” Good way to put it… and right on! I was hoping for more with JoJo out. I was hoping to see this team fight back harder, especially against the critics that say we can’t play without JoJo. I wanted to see them play their most-inspired d all year and prove everyone wrong! Then… make it to the 3rd round and we get JoJo back and he just adds icing to the cake of an already great defense! That is what I was hoping for. Instead… we gave up 92 and 94… a bit better against OSU, who really played out of sync. 94… isn’t that a record for most points given up during the Self era? I grant that ISU was hot and enthused… two typical factors that you can expect to face in March. But come on… so many of their shots from the outside were totally uncontested. And we just couldn’t get a stop in the second half. We fell for every single gimmick they ran! Let’s face the facts… ISU has plenty of seasoned players. They schooled our rookies… big time. I remember one play with 4 Jayhawks (under their basket) all left their feet from a head/shoulder fake. It was almost comical! School is out… we need execution from here on out!

Does Wiggins become our point forward?

I’m a little late to this thread … but I actually think that using Wiggins to initiate the offense for a number of possessions makes sense. I’d like using the flat 4 look with Wiggins at the top a few times, depending on match-ups. Perhaps with a few specific plays where he would pass off the initial drive, and a couple others where he would either drive or shoot. Nice arrow to have in the quiver.
