@wissox Wilt was just born too soon and left this world way too soon. Imagine what records he would hold at KU and in the NCAA if freshman were able to play and they had shot clock. Watching YouTube videos of Wilt, he would’ve dominated in any era. There is a list of about 3 guys with his size and athleticism in NBA history. I consider Wilt the GOAT and always will.

Yes… this team proved several times they could beat teams who shot hot from treysville. So easy to imagine them thrashing the field to the trophy… improving with every game… a truly great road team! I think the NCAA has plenty of other problems to worry about right now besides crowning a champion. They live off the earnings from March Madness… and some of that money works it’s way back to universities… who are also in deep trouble! I wish the only bad news was we didn’t get our chance to prove ourselves in March, but we all have a lot more to worry about right now.

And it’s all good… We beat Baylor, tied for conference lead.

@kjayhawks Oh I remember. I was at my first Chiefs game (pre-season yuck) and Grbac was QB. Dude called a timeout with 40 seconds left on the clock and 30+ on the game clock to set up a half time field goal. Needless to say the other team immediately came down the field and scored with the time he gifted them. He was totally clueless.

@wissox ha! I pd for 3 months and I get the basketball games. I wanted the first fb game and the Vb games. You can’t really beat that price. Cancel it now and they will stop it automatically in 30 days.

I could never live in the LA area with the smog and air quality, The LA Coliseum is pretty much junk as well lol.

The head chairman of the DNC called for a boycott against In and Out because they made a donation to the Republican party. I find plenty wrong with that. Plus I don’t think it would be fair to blanket all the protesters as conservatives as the ones now boycotting Nike. I would assume there are plenty of Liberals that are not happy with Nike. I’m no great business person, but sometimes the saying, “There is no such thing as bad press” rings true. You have to applaud Nike in this instance. They found the most Controversial sports figure they could find and made him the voice of their ad campaign. LIke it or not it’s a genius move. Especially in light of the FBI investigations in college basketball. They have in a essence grabbed control of the content of the Media headlines and public perception. Even if in the coming days a story breaks that Nike has crossed the line in dealing with college players. Nobody will care. As Kaepernick will be all the rage.

That’s a real test of robotics. Many robots work well in manufacturing plants but even in an environment like a large retailer distribution center, robotics struggle with the variety of packaging size, shape, and weights that they come across. Doing this picking effectively would be a huge step forward.

@DoubleDD I like your optimism. We can all use some optimism about now… in any area. I don’t know why we can’t rebuild our program and become a respectable team and possibly even a powerhouse team? We could be in a worse football conference! The renovation project is needed. It’s necessary to have a chance to compete. Just hiring a good coach won’t do it for our program. And the fans know it. Hard to believe it was just 10 years ago when we were playing in the Orange Bowl and was one loss away from possibly being crowned national champions. There was a lesson in all of that. And fans have good memories. They know that a good situation or two isn’t going to put Kansas on the football map. Actually… we have the opportunity now to do what KSU did years ago. They made their move a long time ago and their program was every bit as run down as ours is now. We actually have the chance that their program declines while ours rises… and there is no reason why we shouldn’t pass up the purple kitties.

I’ll be in AFH to see them again.
