@BeddieKU23 Yes…Our defense hasn’t been bad…they have points off turnovers and some lucky shots. combined with our bad offense = 13 point deficit.

21-4 run in our building, the more I watch these guys the more I think they have zero shot at a final four run. Just lazy and unfocused for minutes at a time. This ain’t Iowa state boys, they want to win, do you???

Baylor made one shot that was “lucky” Butlers at the end of the shot clock was a a clean look and he shoots 42% from 3 so that’s not lucky

We were up 20-15 at one point, and we had momentum. Then for some reason Self decided to play a lineup with Silvio, Mac, Marcus, and Ochai. Honestly that was awful by Self.

Had a lot to do with only scoring 4 in the last 8 minutes, but after holding them to 15 points in the first 12 minutes, we gave up 22 in the last 8. Intensity just disappeared…

Turnovers, bad lineups and no points took the zap out of the defense

Would have to go back to look at the play by play, but the ± with the two big lineup is awful…

I didn’t think the defense was that bad honestly. The shots Baylor made in the half-court weren’t great looks. The easy shots they got were off of our dumb turnovers.

First 4-5 minutes will huge here. If KU comes out flat again this will be a 20 point game and all over.
