I stayed up and watched the Gonzaga game last night against BYU. I think I could think of some other teams I’d rather play in the tourney then BYU.
We beat them early in the Maui tourney 71-56 however they didn’t have Childs then. - -He went off last night for 28-10 - -they shoot 43 % from the 3 Haws is a pretty decent player, would rather play them late. - -Sure I think the way we are playing we could win - but if I had my choice let’s hold off till later on that - -really good 3 point shooting teams always make me cringe. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Yeah, BYU in the tourney would be a tough draw. I think that they’re a Sweet 16 team

I’m a little worried about this OSU game. Sandwiched in between Baylor and the stool rematch. They have been playing much better as of late, winning 3 of the last 5. Should be 4 because they got hosed in Waco. It should be a 20+ point win, but we can’t afford to sleep walk into it.

SDSU had a bad loss on Saturday night but ultimately it may benefit them if they fall to the 2 line in Gonzaga’s region. Being sent East where Duke or Nova could be the #2 is bull crap anyway.
I watched SDSU and I didn’t see #1 seed but I also think they played terrible on offense. I think I need to watch a few more of their games to see what their A game looks like. The problem outside the Top 4 teams from this weekend is that nobody deserves a #1 seed except maybe Dayton. It seems like they are doing all they can to keep Dayton from moving up in the polls. Maryland was on a big surge but just lost on the road to Ohio St. Duke has played nobody for most of the season. The gap from KU/Baylor/Zags/SDSU/Dayton I think is significant.

Agree .You watch though the NCAA Tourney people if they keep going they being ( Kentucky ) -I think they are ranked # 7 these people will do all they can if UK keeps winning as they are 1st in the SEC now - -they will try their best to try and slide them in as a # 1. - and like you say if they can’t get them in then and/or they will try to get Duke in and let them play on the East Coast - - AGAIN

Same problem with WV - - they are just terrible on the offensive end. - - Way to many long scoring lapses - - terrible shooters

Texas needs this game a lot more than WVU does. WVU will be in the NCAA Tournament regardless if they win another game or not. Texas needs this to boost their chances of an at large bid.

Good point. Dayton if they win out has to be right there too but obviously they are always going to pick a power 5 over A-10

OU needs the Texas win more than they needed last night. Last night was the one game OU could’ve lost and kept their tournament hopes alive. With them and Texas both winning their midweek games against ranked teams, their game on Saturday is much bigger now.

Find it kind of funny. Some fans of Duke feel they can still get the #1 seed in the East. I’m here to say after the things that have happened if they still end up some how land a # 1 seed the NCAA is a true travesty.
I mean they get beat by an unranked NC State team not only get beat but spanked by an Unranked NC State team by 22 points , and the media darlings/ESPN darlings ? NCAA darlings only drop one spot in the rankings, THEN they go out and Danny and the crew whip that ass in OT after Duke had a 9 point lead with 70 seconds to go in regulation 113-101. - -that is NOT a number 1 seed

@Texas-Hawk-10 That Maryland win seemed almost inevitable as down the stretch player after player on Minnesota seemed determined to make stupider plays than the previous one. Pitino needed to call a timeout and calm them down when it got to 6 but he let it go despite having 2 to use. By the time he did, Gophers were in desperation mode, with players doing the “I want to be the hero!” thing. Very sad.

Maryland has been playing a lot of hero ball lately. The win against Michigan St wasn’t as dramatic as that one but man they are getting lucky/clutch play.
If your the Minnesota player covering Morsell (a career 27% 3pt shooter) what can ya do, the reaction said it all.

Ok , now let me say I’m a big as Marsha hater as the next guy, but I’ve got a question. - -Was watching them against Temple. - -Wichita State is now 21-7 on the year and yet they all talking about how Wichita State can not lose about they are squarely on the bubble and just can not afford to lose.
So how can a team be 21-7 now and one of the last 4 in. I know there has to be a logical explanation , especially with College Basketball being down across the board this season and 21-7 and your squarely on the bubble ?

I’m watching the Tx/TTech game. TT is getting a bunch of offensive foul calls in the first half. That’s something for KU to watch out for next Sat. I’m also impressed with the TT fans. They are actually part of the game, unlike other Big 12 arenas.
