Not too surprising on either account. ISU has historically struggled with UNI and WVU isn’t a good team this year.

Scaling back the playbook isn’t the issue with Locklin, he’s just not ready yet to run a B12 offense.

Changing offenses every year limits the development of QB’s much more than people realize. The announcers keep bringing up Stanley being in his 5th offense in his 5 years. That’s why our QB’s don’t look better.
They are spending every spring learning a new system instead of growing in a system. I’m hoping Koenning stays for awhile so the system is consistent and the QB’s can actually develop in the spring instead of learning a new system for the next several years. If that happens, we’ll see the QB play make real strides forward.
