My buddy has been working with him for a bit. Really good athlete with a ton of potential. I would say his ranking is more based on potential then actual at this moment but he’s getting there. He is going to keep his ear out on his recruitment now that the hawks offered

Kendall Brown is a name you really want to be paying attention to, imo.

Some things Kendall Brown had to say after his un-official visit at late night:
Brown said his visit was just crazy , Never seen anything like it before. He got there Friday had a chance to tour around a bit before late night - -Said Coach’s told him what he needed to work on , stating he was a big guard playing on the wing 6’7 - -saying KU wanting him to be able to get out and run.
Taking his 1st official visit to Marquette on the weekend of ( 10-25 ) -Marquette really been recruiting him hard - - -he says he really likes Marquette a lot - - also wants to visit Maryland.
Other Schools that he is hearing from : Nebraska - - Arkansas - - -Gonzaga - - Baylor and others , looking to commit next year before School starts - -probably cut the list before beginning AAU.
As far as what he is looking for from his visits from a School: Relationships & where he will fit in the best - - Which School gives him the best opportunity to put him in the league - -& then looking for Coaching Relationship - - -Team Relationship and if the team feels at home for him. – ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Kentucky signed another 5 star player, he may reclassify into 20 but for now is still a 21 recruit.
Almost as if there’s a factory Calipari can visit and pick one off the line.

Harrison Ingram looks like he could visit during the season. I wonder if KU tries to use the official visit here since he couldn’t make Late Night. Close with Tre White (22 commit). Coach T primary here

Bossi watched possible 2021 reclass Tre White. Bossi Had this to say.
Ryan on the Phog also said that when he committed he would be surprised if Tre sticks and goes to KU. Time will tell.
“Ranked in the top 40 nationally, White is a power wing who has a big body and combines some bounce with power. What struck me most was his skill level. He did some things with the ball (stepbacks, hesitations, changes of pace and direction) that I’d not seen from him in the past and he shot the ball with confidence. He backed up his lofty national status.”

Outside of Creighton grads Omaha is BIG RED country but they really don’t care about hoops so I hope we can pull him.
I REALLY like Khristian Lander but I believe the NOA crap axed us there. He will end up at Indiana or Michigan depending on shoe bid I imagine.

In addition to Kendall Brown, 2021 5 star Patrick Baldwin Jr was in attendance as well. Baldwin is the son of Milwaukee’s coach. Top 5 player in the 21 class. His Crystal Ball is all Duke so far…
Also in attendance was Tamar Bates, 4 star Combo Guard out of Kansas City. 6’4 lefty has some game to him from some highlights I looked at. Can finish above the rim, looks like good length for a guard. Bates was also in attendance for Late Night. Bates has been active, been to K-St, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma St (unofficial) and Creighton for an official. Nationally #114 ranked player. 247 has him ranked a bit higher at #93. So far no KU offer but that could change.

well read where Frank Anselem 6’10 out of California planning on visit to KU. - -Ranked the 57th player in the 2021 class
Along with KU the other 4 visits he is taking are : - -Oregon- - Alabama - -USC - -Arizona State ( notice a pattern of schools ? ) West Coast Area. - but who knows, anybody think there is a chance with this kid?
Broke down the Schools as far as KU , he said they know they are losing Doke , looing for that replacement and play Defense like him and defend the rim. - -we will see. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I’d agree in that assessment. Just based on who we’re targeting, sure seems like Self is committing to 4 smalls. We’re losing 3 bigs over the next couple classes and aren’t really replacing them. I’m 100% wrong on some of the specifics but looks like we’ll trot out Harris, Thompson, Brown, Enaruna, McCormack as the 21-22 group.

Just running through the concept. A lot has to shake out before we get a good idea of what it’ll look like.
We’re still 2 years out so they can certainly improve. Play Wilson or Braun over Brown if you need another shooter.

If he goes elsewhere it won’t be because KU didn’t try very hard to land him. He’s probably the top priority in the 21 class.
