Buzz is mostly KU and Zona. I really think the Kentucky stuff is super overblown.

in the end is it worth it with all the drama that goes along with it OR do we take the 2-3 good quality guards that we have picked up in the off Season all ready Yasafu Petti - -Cuffe and others ? - sure Ty is good yet is he going to be a Cancer to the other guys - a guy that wants ALL the attention on him? - -A Black hole ? look at me type of guy?

I don’t think Tyty is a bad locker room guy at all. I expect Cuffe to redshirt.

I don’t think Tyty is a bad locker room guy at all. I expect Cuffe to redshirt.
well Farmer as always I appreciate your opinions that’s why I holler at you so much lol. - -Wasn’t necessary trying to say he would be - - just some random thoughts, kind of makes me wonder though if we will have enough balls to go around. you really don’t think Cuffe is good enough to contribute his Freshmen year? - seems pretty dam athletic to me

Anytime my man! It’ll be tough for sure. Yesufu, Tyty, and Dave are ball dominant for sure. I think Cuffe has a long way to go to adjust. He’s skipping his senior year after only playing two games as a junior. Big jump from basically a sophomore to Big 12 competition.

Well that’s very true, guess I just went brain dead not realizing he only played two games his Junior year. - -Still very much a fan though cause I truly believe he will be very good before it’s all said and done

Not sure Self takes a commitment before TyTy. Things are moving so fast though, it’s insane.

But one thing about most of these redshirt predictions? They almost never come true. With the new transfer rules, these players will now more than ever not be down with redshirting unless they bleed Jayhawk. I don’t see Cuffe redshirting, though he probably should.

True. It seems nobody knows. I haven’t seen the GL rumor in a couple weeks though. I just hope it does end in the next 7-10 days so Bill and staff can celebrate or move on. Still plenty of talent in the portal , but the longer his recruitment draws out the more the portal talent will dry up.

Final 247 rankings are out
Zach 44 Comp 66 247 down a fair bit in 247 ranking
KJ 67 Comp 78 247 up 8 spots
Bobby 91 comp 87 247 basically unchanged, did get a better grade though
Cuffe 103 comp 101 247 basically unchanged

@Crimsonorblue22 247 has their own ranking - so Zach is ranked 66th in the 247.
In the composite - so an average of all of the ranking sites - Zach is ranked 44th.

If Ochai and Wilson both do not come back next year is not going to be very much fun. I am pretty dissapointed in how Self handled the portal. Seems like we should have been able to land much better talent then we did.

I guess the question is (since we screwed around too long, chasing a prima donna instead of picking up another solid transfer) what will our team be if both Wilson and Agbaji return? And we don’t need Wheeler unless we want Harris to transfer. And I’d take Harris over Wheeler any day.

There will be a spot to fill, and Self will fill it. Wheeler seems most likely right now @Marco
Starting line-up would likely be Harris, Braun, Ochai, Jalen, Dave to start the season. Believe me though when I say I would prefer Braun in a bench role.
