I actually think we have a decent shot for Rylan Griffin - pretty solid player. Is late night on the 1st Farmer ? - -If so as we know that’s always a plus, and with people actually getting to be there this year can’t do nothing but help

Dave isn’t an NBA prospect and is eligible to come back next in 2022-23. I would say at this point there’s a pretty solid chance he comes back next season because KU is still going to be absolutely loaded next season as well regardless of whether MJ Rice ever sets foot on campus. A starting line up in 22-23 with Harris, Yesufu, Dick, Clemence, and McCormack is going to be one of the best in the country next season. If Rice does come, then swap Rice for Clemence because I think Rice would be the 4 over Dick in that line up as Self would go small ball.

Livingston cut KU. Was hoping KU could find a top 15 talent in this class but it’s not going to happen. Livingston was once considered a KU lean but not sure what happened.

@Woodrow I think a lot of schools backed off assuming he would go pro. He mentioned in an article awhile back that some schools weren’t even talking to him anymore.

you sure that’s still on ? read off TOS this morning he dropped KU – - edited My Bad Farmer , just went back and rechecked TOS it wasn’t Miller that dropped us - - it was Bates. Hell I didn’t even realize that we were EVER in the conversation for that kid.
You know at this point who all has planned to visit for Late Night ?

ya that’s a pretty loaded group. - - Think we have a legit shot at Griffin We already got Dick , - - -Think no chance for Mitchell well next to none, I dunno sounds like UCLA 1st or Duke 2nd - have no idea about Jackson. Would be nice if we could get the 2023 kid to visit for late night has already come an un official I believe his name escapes me right now 6’10 pretty skinny kid but really good talk of him as a top 10 kid would be nice to get him back for late night.

I went a checked as I had mentioned this kid for late night. He has un-offically visited but would love to have him for late night. - -2023 kid 6’10 currently ranked 43rd overall BUT 32nd in composite. Bossi said he has been in line for a big boost and pushing for 5 * = could up being in the top 10 - -his name is Matas Buzeles

Yeah he’s at my buddy’s school Brewster Academy this yr so hopefully I’ll have some intel here. Needs to put on a lot of weight at his size. Film doesn’t immediately say top 10 kind of player but not sure how deep 23 class is

Mercy not sure about anyone else but I’ve found the recruiting process become almost comical anymore. I think it has become a circus a bunch of guys just looking to suck up the lime light for as long as they come - -the longer they can draw the recruitment process out - -the better it is for them examples ? - -you want examples ? - -ok follow this

We have already got Dick, Rice and Zuby all of whom will sign early, I imagine. So who else, realistically, do we have a good chance of getting perhaps early, but maybe late, given Bill’s record of nabbing players every year during the late signing period?

They definitely want a big to go with Zuby. Adem Bona and Ernes Udeh seem like the top targets. Iwuchukwu as well but he’s always seemed like a Baylor lean.

Yeah I thought he would be big time but his development tapered off.
Chandler Jackson is one to really watch with KU. Mutual interest is there.

I can’t swear to anything but have heard lately /read that we are in thick with Ernest Udeh Jr - they visited him yesterday. - - I kind of wonder if we might have more of a chance then we think wit Nick Smith. - ONE he cancelled his official trip to Kentucky and will not be rescheduled they said - - just a thought cause I thought he was a UK lock

Nick Smith is not leaving the south. If Kentucky has moved on like some think it will be Bama or Auburn.

You never know - - - he might I unlike probably most actually thinks there is A CHANCE he does come back, pretty small but still a chance. I wouldn’t be mad at him if he did. He carried in for long periods of times in quite a few games - -as to where if wouldn’t of haad his input during those times we would of really been screwed

They seem to be the favorite now. KU staff has been recruiting him pretty hard fwiw.
