Just passing it along! If Memphis gets Watford, Precious will not go to Memphis. That could be interesting.
Barring him getting a first round guarantee Dotson will be a Jayhawk next season.
Yeah I should have actually stated my thoughts. Precious is probably the least interesting option to me that KU is in on. He’s just too raw.
Also isn’t Watford going to LSU? Seems like that is all but done.
Not at all on Watford. He may end up there but with all the stuff LSU is going through it’s a lot more open. Nate Oats has done a great job making up ground as well. All 3 schools probably have a shot.
I’m thinking BShark may be right on this - - just seen yet another CB for him and LSU looking more and more like that could be his landing spot. - - 247 shows them in the lead for him now.

Ya you know what? - -With what seems to be all the Panic - - the sky is falling - - Self is doing a suck job with his recruiting - -yet here we are.
Seems like there is still a really good chance we will end up with a really good recruiting class - starting to take shape a little better - -just going to be another case of late year additions. - Although I would sure like to have a year where we aren’t sweating little gold nuggets about what the hell we are going to end up with.
I mean let’s look at the possibilities we STILL have on the Table for this year : - -We have Rajon Tucker - - - We have Tristan Enaruna - - - -We have what TJ Holyfield - - -We have - - RJ Hampton - - - We have Kyree Walker - - -we have precious - - - also could STILL end up having Silvio back - -if we end up with any kind of Combinations from this - - we are still gonna be fine - -BUT man would love to hear something positive quick. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer73 You might be right. I have never said that I don’t want want him to come back, only that I don’t think that he will. Reason #1 - I’m not so sure that he can (I know, he can work on his 3 point shot, learn to D up, he’s taller than Frank, etc.) improve his draft stock all that much by coming back - I won’t go on and on about why. Reason #2 - I don’t think that coach is pushing for him to come back. Perhaps Self might think that a PG rotation of Hampton and McBride (McBride already being a 3 point threat) is better than Dotson. Reason #3 - Maybe Dotson knows for sure something that we don’t.

Enaruna was quoted that he wanted to play a lot right away. Not sure that will happen in Lawrence…depending on whom else signs.

Looks like they might be selling the 4 spot. I don’t know what position Ballock settled into but he would seem like a player in Enaruna’s way

After reading his USA today blog - -I feel and fully expect to move that decision day up before long.
Talking about wanting to get back with the Coaches soon and then sitting down and talking everything out with family and then making his decision - -I don’t think there is ANY way he waits until July now unless of because of the EBYL

I feel like Holyfield is more tied to the Silvio decision but we will see. I could see adding Enaruna and Holyfield if Silvio isn’t allowed to play.
I think if Silvio has to leave, the dream scenario would be adding RJ, Walker, Enaruna and Holyfield.

Just enough shooting to get by and insane athleticism.
Ochai and Garrett as the main bench guards. Then the post gets kind of murky. History would indicate Enaruna wouldn’t really play.

He got recruited over before he even stepped foot on campus (Stanley). With Jones, Goldwire, and O’Connell coming back, he would’ve had to fight to be the 3rd or 4th guard when K promised a shot at starting.

I bet Memphis makes a strong push for him. I think they were one of his finalist. Penny has a great chance to end with just a monster class to add to Wiseman.

I doubt it. Dook has long preferred RJ stay in 2020. Pretty sure that ship has sailed. Can’t see him going there with Jones and Stanley on board. Boogie wasn’t going to get any of RJ’s minutes anyway.

FWIW sounds like this has been in the works for over a month now. Sounds like Boogie wasn’t happy Duke was getting involved with Stanley and still going hard after RJ.

I wouldn’t be. RJ in effect cut dook when Tre Jones came back.

I think it’s good news for Kansas (and Tech). RJ cut Duke when Tre Jones said he was coming back for another season. RJ is a lot better than Ellis and would easily start over him or Stanley if he chose Duke. So I doubt RJ cares at all about Ellis leaving Duke. Memphis going after Ellis could mean that they don’t think they have a good shot of landing RJ anymore, though. Losing RJ to Tech would really suck.

This and adding Stanley I feel. Now if somehow Duke gets added again, then I’d be super worried but I don’t think they are a player in this one currently.

Exactly. - -with him not announcing until July - gives Rat face all kinds of time to get back into the thick of things. - -The LAST thing I need to hear is that Duke has been added AGAIN to the recruitment of RJ

Well off the Phog - poster showed off @ John Martin 929 twitter account that like a little over an hour ago. 00 Rod Hampton – RJ’S - dad was suppose to have text this John Martin saying in the txt: RJ & Boogie is a STRONG possibility at Memphis , they can definitely play together. - - who in the hell ever this John Martin is.
They bringing out the point that Rod Hampton went out of his way to send this text to the Martin guy. - -Saying Hampton went out of his way to text Marti - not Martin textin Hampton. - - I swear to GOD if he goes to Memphis - - -I’m done on this recruiting crap – -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
