2020 Recruiting

This might already have been posted guys but - - -KK Robinson has 2 visits planned/official - - - KK will be at KU on October 4-6th. - - Isn’t our late night on the 4th? - -Will visit Arkansas the 18th-20th of October
His Coach says KK is the pass 1st PG - - excellent Passer , Can score when called on , - - -Great Court Vision , - - And gets in the lane well off the bounce
Decision going to be made BEFORE Christmas he says. - - Arkansas - - KU - - TCU - -Texas A & M - – Iowa State - - -Illinois - - & Vandy - - where we sitting with him? - -I think we gotta pretty decent shot myself - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I like how this one is trending. I personally would like to see him end up a Hawk.
Staff has been into see him a few times, the move to Oak Hill & having Dave on the team as an alum can help.
I know KK is ranked lower then some other targets but the film I’ve seen looks solid, personally think he’s a bit underrated and the move to Oak Hill will give him plenty of visibility to possibly rise in the ranks by the end of his Sr year. He could end up a high to middle 4 star player when its all said and done.
He is a solid 2 way player with a rep for being a quality defender already. Would be interesting having a southpaw PG on the team.
KU is his first official for late night. It’s not going to get any better then that wherever else he goes. Hopefully he loves the visit

I kind of feel comfortable. Self always pulls stuff out in the spring. We have a roster that has good depth going forward. All is good.

Late Night is always a good thing , Big Seller for us , the only down side I’ve heard from some is with the late night - -the Coaching Staff can’t really give him as much of that one on one attention with so many other recruits being here also.
Might be making something out of nothing - -but Glad at this point anyways he only has the 2 visits scheduled - -he comes in , we make a good enough sales pitch - - maybe he won’t even make any other visits. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@BeddieKU23 You don’t think every coach has told recruits why would you go play for a team that is not going to be able to play in the tournament. I 100% believe it affected the 2019 class and there is no doubt it has affected 2020.

Absolutely its impacted both cycles. I just think the headlines will really scare off any recruits for the fall at minimum now. Could be overreacting here a bit but I’m sure the national chains will pick the story up and everyone will know

Heard from a very solid source tonight that until the NCAA issue is resolved, expect recruiting to be “brutal.” Name if the game is develop, develop, develop. I get the feeling they’re more concerned about that than any sanctions.

Going to be really interesting to see just how many of these recruits that were coming for late night -NOW actually show up. - - -I have a feeling like has ben said , it’s not gonna be pretty.
There is one thing that stumps me though , I mean dam - - take a look at Arizona AND Louisville these two programs are both smack dab in this mess and really hasn’t effected their recruiting that much at all. - - Hell Ol Stump Sean was/is real close to losing his job - -that program when this is all said and done could STILL be in a pile of warm dog doo and yet , you look at his recruiting and doesn’t seem like he has taken hardly any kind of hit - - not like it’s effecting ours , every time you turn around another recruit is committing there or they are in the conversation for
Look at Louisville - - they have been in Big time trouble - - - has it really effected their recruiting like it seems to ours ? - - -don’t think so - - I think there are some schools really just bashing the hell out of us about all this - -still makes me think also that it might be time to do some house cleaning , bring in new blood on the recruiting staff, possibly some of these guys have become stale.
Something BESIDES this crap just isn’t adding up. With the success this program has had in recent past , there is just no way our recruiting should be this sucky bad - even with this NCAA BS - -I smell something and it’s not good. - - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer73 It’s definitely going to get rough but then it will get better. Louisville is the perfect example. They got hammered and recovered.
This current class is not going to have any star appeal.
Edit: Louisville didn’t even have a recruiting class in 2018? Is that correct? Showing as no signees that year for them.

This is going to be a year of loyalty for the program - - - well I’m saying from a fans perspective in a way anyways.
You know - - I know these other programs fan base everywhere you go - -they see your team, wearing gear an such - -get ready for all the BS remarks , talking about how the program is scum - - dirty always has been always will be they will say , Can’t win without cheating and all kinds of cheap shots - – just sayin - - be ready.
Now I know , and it’s ok if people don’t agree but all I’m saying is - -that IF it turns out and to me it’s looking more and more that whether we want to accept it or not - - at least from the so called wire taps - - info that couldn’t be introduced to the case or whatever , but if that took place if money WAS exchanged for a players service to get them to come here - - - -if they played or not - - bottom line is - - money was given , there was supposed where Coach asking if we were good - -again is being said Coach offered to resign - -IF your not guilty of something , then WHY would you do that?
If I’m innocent of these allegations there is no way in Hell I would be doing something such as that -to me him making a statement IF he did just solidifies his guilt in this - -again I can understand why people might disagree with what I’m saying here - it’s ok if you do I understand. I’m just trying to look from all sides.
Again IF and it’s looking like as much as we don’t want to admit it from phone conversations and yes again I get it - it wasn’t permitted to be used BUT whether it was permitted or not sure sounds like from the phone tap – money WAS exchanged – Bottom Line - -that is a violation period - - plain and simple - -try coloring it any way you want - - by NCAA guidelines a player can’t receive money well a player/parents who the hell ever - -So IF we did - - the YES we ARE guilty - - the old saying goes - - you do the crime - - -then do the time.

Couple tweets from Evan Daniels this morning that I found interesting. Sure KU is still considered a blue blood, but they are not acquiring talent any longer like one. Also, it looks like there might be a handful of top 25 kids taking the pro route this year…
