I like what the D has going on. When Dineen tackles everything, you can play the pass a little more. If we want to win games, it’s going to be from the D making big plays and creating turnovers.

The poor special teams absolutely drives me crazy for a team that sucks. You can control that. And if you ever want to win against even a mediocre team, you can’t have mistakes like that.

That’s the thing some people aren’t getting, I feel. If it was clear the team executed crisply and just got their asses kicked physically I would feel much better about this coaching staff.

Poor Nebraska having to play a walk on at QB after their starter got hurt last week from a dirty Colorado player twisting his knee after being down. Was one of the dirtiest plays I’ve seen in awhile.

Booker did a great job positioning himself there to allow only himself to catch the pass or force a pass interference.

Kendrick should play. Bender doesn’t throw it well enough to justify him starting. Kendrick gives this offense another dimension.

Nebraska can pound sand. That said it is a tough break for them. Also the guy that would have been their back-up transferred out. It’s so hard to keep a good back-up QB these days because they will want to go somewhere to try and start.

@kjayhawks Kendrick’s first pass was good. Kerr Johson looked over the wrong shoulder. Had he turned over his outside shoulder instead of his inside one, he catches it. That was on Johnson, not Kendrick.

@BShark When you have tall receivers like Booker, the fade is a good play because the receiver has the height advantage to jump over a DB.
