That St Peter’s game and KU passing UK on the all-time wins list was pretty painful to UK. The top 25 wins stat was just salt in the wound.
I empathize with the fans a bit, but honestly can’t feel too bad for them because I remember the 70s and early 80s when KU was up and down… and often mediocre. Some disappointing moments hurt to this day. I particularly remember listening to Max on the radio in 1977 when we played #1 Kentucky in AFH. KU was supposed to be a contender for the championship and have a shot to go deep in the tournament. We had a chance to make a statement that day, but the way we lost seemed to confirm that we still weren’t at that level.
This moment has been a long time coming.

Well they are some right to a point. We get the chance of more ranked wins because of our conference, just goes to show how tough our conference is. - Then just shows how big our N - - - - are by winning those game - -KU really tough to Beat Our Conference petty dam tough it’sslf. - Really is kind of surprising the distance between us and Duke @ 2nd.
