Harter was a defensive Basketball guru that came out of the Penn line of great coaches (Chuck Daly, etc.). Harter pioneered swarming, physical bad boy defense. Took it to Oregon in the 1970s and turned Ernie Kent and mates into human buzz saws in treads. Hater left, coached Penn State 5 years, thenassisted hor HCed 6-8 NBA teams in the 1980s., Ernie came back and coached Oregon

Worried that this a game where Oregon could have a really good offensive game, as they have plodded along the last couple weeks. Need to come out with great defensive energy.

No doubt but he ignored Kansas pretty much to say nothing on how Oregon was supposed to win.

I’m glad I’m not more worried about this game. I’m very peaceful and serene. For 10 more minutes especially.

They keep talking about or at least Kenny Smith keeps talking about the size differential of the guards for Oregon how that’s a big advantage for them - - Well hell we have played against size differential for most of the season with Frank & Devonte seems like we have done just fine. - -thing is are they going to be able to stay with Frank on their defensive end - -goes both ways Smith not more of a KU rooter never has been - -time will tell - - LET’S DO THIS - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
