No you haven’t been paying attention. KU has a limited bench. They can’t just hang all that there. They have to pick they’re moments. This isn’t the typical Coach team. This one is special.

KU isn’t trying to win rebounding battles right now. Self has them more focused on defense than rebound so KU doesn’t puck up cheap fouls fighting for rebounds and so they can get back on defense.

Its not. But if it isn’t the first thing on your list then why play? Isn’t it what every teams goal should be?

@DoubleDD no I pay attention real well. And if you play like this against a fundamentally sound and hungry mid major second round you go home. And I’ve seen it. Multiple times. And so have you. Don’t need to pretend this is any different. Give credit where credit is due. But you don’t if it isn’t. That’s a recipe for mediocrity

What you don’t understand is this KU team isn’t great at anything. Yet they can look death in the eye and not blink. That is special. They’re tough.

@DoubleDD I understand it very well… And have likened then to the 2012 team myself. Have said on several occasions. If were within a bucket or two with a minute to go I like our chances 90 percent of the time… but that does not mean you don’t work on getting better at your deficiencies

You can’t see greatness because you worried about rebounds. Have you notice that even coach doesn’t give this team crap? In fact he defends them.

Opponents just aren’t intimidated by our team or AFH. All season the opponents have shot well and played well in AFH.

Rebounding and defense are so hard for this team

Svi - didn’t follow-up his shot nor did he get back - just kind of stood there. It came back his way and he could/should have gotten it to continue the possession…

Also Josh should have put in the lay-up instead of passing to Svi. Lay-up is about 95% compared to Svi a 40% 3pt shooter

Shooting % is even at 44%, but we are getting out rebounded by 8, 21 to 13

Imagine how good this team will be once Devonte and Svi’s shots start falling again. Bragg needs to go after the ball and be aggressive. He also needs to knock down those jumpers.
