@BShark Surprised LL lasted the whole game. The way Johnson was beating on him he should have a cracked rib or two. I have yet to understand why a defensive player gets called if his arms aren’t perfectly vertical, yet the guy with the ball can beat on him and shove him out of the way under the hoop without a call.

Completely agree, I’ve been preaching this for years. Happens in the pros too. Not only is it inconsistent, but it’s just ugly basketball too.

Right, and some of them were over-the-top passes, which if successful would have resulted in a layup or dunk. So it’s almost like a missed shot in that sense. At least, I can live with those turnovers a bit more than some of the others.

@KirkIsMyHinrich Yeah, I can’t blame LL too much for his lack of point production tonite (except from the line) as he wasn’t fed very well. And he had to battle Johnson and Wade for rebounds. And lopsided foul calling will effect how aggressive a player will be for rebounds under the hoop.

now that is the proper approach and aspect. Lucas isn’t the best big man in the country by far. Yet know what ??? He plays with the heart of a loin. And when the refs allow him he’s crafty.
