We are starting to see some guys that kind of fit together: Josh, Vick and Azuibuke, with whichever guards fill the other two slots. Unfortunately, Doke isn’t yet quite ready for 35 mpg. But it looks like Self is going to start playing him into shape.

The good news is that Self really didn’t help them much and they found a way to compose themselves, go on the attack and separate.

i went back on shift tonight. 5 nights of 1900-0700 so the fact that we are actually playing good basketball makes it so much easier to be here right now.

Listening to Doke, and thinking about all of the African players KU has had recently, it would be nice if Senator Pompeo soon to be CIA Director could put in a good word for KU to get an Institute for African Basketball Research and Development. We need more of these guys.

If Coleby gets healthy I honestly don’t see much of a reason for Lucas to get minutes unless he really improves.

At this point, Coleby is clearly better than Lucas and that’s with Coleby dragging his leg. Coleby might be a better player than I thought.

I hate that LL isnt playing well but its not the first week anymore and if he’s hurt why is self playing him? I’m guessing he’s not and if he dont pick it up he be left outta the rotation. Silly fouls, missed blockouts and bunnies dont cut it ever.
