Dejuan seems very introverted in person. I’m sure he’s out of his comfort zone most of the time for KU.

Once again most of our defensive issues are caused by switching. We had AJ, Zeke, Coit, Juan and Shak awitched to a big at time that mostly led to easy buckets for them.

Defense in the pain the biggest issue so far. Not sure there is a change we can make other than more Flory. And I don’t suspect that will happen.

@Crimsonorblue22 he gave up 14 points to the man he was guarding. Didn’t move his feet and struggled to get the ball across half court. We was down 7 with him in to start took a 3 point lead. He subs back in and we are down 3 at the break, his plus/minus has to be the only negative besides maybe Flory a true freshman playing in his first tournament game.

Agreed. He had an opportunity in that fast break to draw a foul and instead he avoided contact and missed a layup.
Not driving the ball to score or anything.

Even Hunter often pivots away from the basket and shoots a hook on a small defender. Oops… better keep my mouth shut since he’s most of our offense!
