@stoptheflop we have different opinions on this. I’m to the point where “they” can quit charging for watching sports or I will give up watching sports.
I hear there are other options in life. Hiking, boating, fishing, etc. Screw the professional money grubbers.

yea, sucks for people like me that aren’t in the KC area, where i assume it’s on regular TV?
Same old same old, but all these different services keep adding up, yet my salary stays the same!

A good win against a good team, could play a big factor later on in the year as to whom gets home field in the playoffs. Offense looked pretty good most the night, defense has a lot to work on IMO. If Lamar who played a good game could throw. The chiefs likely lose

Hey, a win vs a top team is a win! Happy about that. I thought the defense played well. Super tough to non-traditionally defend against Lamar. Ya never know what he’s gonna do. The D line was mostly great til they got winded. No real issues with the secondary. They made some good plays. The Baltimore touchdowns did seem preventable though.
Go Chiefs! And screw Peacock!

@Crimsonorblue22 my wife and I just “qualified” for a lifetime fishing license. Gas …$25 bucks each trip out. Or about the price of a pop and hot dog at one of the professional college games.

After seeing all the Greenbay/Eagles ads for the game in Brazil Friday night, that game is only shown on Peacock. So, for those who got Peacock to watch the Chiefs, you can get your money’s worth watching Friday night’s game.

@Crimsonorblue22 The absence of Sneed will not be noticeable after a few games. Spags will get the DBs to stop trying to tackle by diving behind the runners. I hope…
Balt gave up on using Henry in the 2nd half b/c the Chiefs were up by 2 scores. Remember the Titans game in the playoffs a few years back? Same thing. A good lead can negate his dominance.

Couple of observations:
While Xavier got two TDS, Rice is most important WR for Chiefs offense.
Nick B was lost, not a good start, Gay was missed. KC needs athletic LBs.
Overall DBs did a good job without Sneed.
Ravens are very tough and legit.

LB was a position of concern for me coming into the season. I thought they mostly played well. Helped stop the run. Bolton looked like a turtle on the Likely touchdown play though.

Bolton needs to step up big time, he just looked so slow out there. The tight ends were blowing him away. If has another game like that, he needs to be demoted to special teams. That was one of the worst performances I’ve seen in a long time from a linebacker.

Well the Ravens win was exciting and frustrating. Jackson had a lot of opportunities to beat KC on the last drive. Did everyone see Coach Harbaugh signal for a two point conversion before the TD was overturned? I sure wish I knew what play was going to be called. Henry up the middle? Play/action for Jackson to run wide or pass. Wow, that would have been fun. Next up, Cincy. I was surprised the Chiefs get another home game for this game.

Fun game. I won’t be online as much for football games this year, especially the Chiefs as I’m trying to enjoy time with my mom who is really getting up in years at this point. Plus being on twitter and such during games really brings out more of my negative side.

@AsadZ Jones got pooped. Lamar to many lil easy passes and to many easy runs up the gut. We gave them the easy ones. Designed? They easily used the clock and got the ball where they wanted. We were super lucky. I miss Snead.

Willie Gay’s athleticism is missed. Bolton got exposed.

@Crimsonorblue22 It appears that this years’ D will be more like Spag’s typical teams who develop and gel over course of the season. Last year was an anomaly.

I’ve always used ESPN for stats during and after the games. Mahomes passing was 20/28 for 291 yds. What do you say the average is? I’ve always measured the average by completions, but this year, ESPN is using Yards divided by Attempts. Average yds per completion means something useful; average yds per attempt doesn’t mean very much.

There is an average yards per attempt and an average yards per completion, but to be honest I never look at either. For me it’s about
total yards, TDs, and third down conversion percentage.nah it’s about marveling over Mahomes. He’s ruined me for other sports even. Fanboy here.

An update on the Peacock NFL watching experience…
Insert as many profanities as possible here…absolute horseshit. I’m on the west coast, so couldn’t really catch the game live to start. I tried to watch a replay hours after the game ended, and even tried to watch a replay this morning. NOPE!
Not available. Incredible. WTF kinda service is this? Surely I’m not the only human on the planet that can’t always watch a game live.
