The Vernon’s of the world gotta string people along because Flagg does like KU and Self but there is no chance he comes here. I’ll eat my words and gladly be wrong but I confirmed again today and Flagg is 100% Duke. He ain’t coming to Kansas. Not even dork face Scheyer can mess this up

Wiggs was thought to be a UK/FSU battle. Joel was thought to be a Florida/UCLA lean. Get em on campus and see where things go. He could decide to come or not but take the shot.

Happens much more often in football than basketball but there’s a lot of pressure not to visit certain places because the staff has a history of changing hearts and minds. Kansas is absolutely the top of that list.

I’m not heart broken, I mean we all knew that Flagg was a Moon shot. – Having said that give me Flory , Philon - -& Passmore & I’ll be fine.
I mean seriously w have seen how these Coach’s that land all these one and dones have fared - Look at Calipari year after year after year he lands the Nations # 1 ranked recruiting class and what’s he got from it ?
not really squat for what he has recruited, - Scheyer at Duke going down the same path-- -this part I love from that hated State --but I’ll take their theme - - -SHOW ME
It’s got a lot to do with Coaching and not where the kids are ranked. - -Let Bill have those guys - -see what happens. - -It’s ok Bill gts those 15 ranked through 40-45 ranked kids and we STILL yr after yr challenge for the Championship - -I trust Bill. like I aid we ge the three I mentione plus portal or whatever— we going to be just fine - - ROCK CHALK

@BShark recruiting is fluid and if anyone on this board gives you crap who cares. You’re right way more than you’re wrong and any info you provided……I know people here appreciate.
I’ve only had inside info on 3 recruits. X Henry, Wiggs and Flagg. All weird one off situations through grapevine of knowing the right people from my playing days.
The guy I know is like “vacation together” tight with the Duke player so I knew it was over. The visit canceling just confirmed what he told me last week was lock step with the truth.
I may need to leverage some contacts more than I’d ever thought

@jayballer67 I’d rather have the top transfer like Hunter every year than high school recruits. Plenty of Selby’s and Cliff Alexander’s compared to Wiggs and others that were good right away

This is also the best to last year of the Covid year guys so the portal will be exceptionally well stocked again.

Haha, knew ratface would come through! As I said, there was nothing out there to believe they were serious about KU. Still would have been nice to see him on campus for the publicity.

@FarmerJayhawk Nah - we’d put on a great show like we always will but he was Duke all the way. Just selling clicks similar to Okafor and Jones about a decade ago…always Duke bound

Now could be wrong but I was thinking I read somewhere - – Rakease visit ends today doesn’t it ? – Thinking they wanted Flagg to be the only recruit for late night so they could focus just on him. - Is that true or is Passmore going to be here for late night also ?

Flagg is no longer visiting Kansas. Rakease gets in for his visit tomorrow. Flory and Philon will also be there.
