I like Ingram a ton. He has a skillset you can work with. Good passer. Can post up. Shoots it well enough you have to guard him. Handles the ball very well for a guy his size. Not a world-class athlete, but not a slouch.
I’d be very happy with that one.
I do not want Spencer Jones personally. I would get it, but not a fan.

The film on Primo is very Remy Martin. When he’s hot he’s hot. He’s going to shoot a lot. He’s going to shoot awful shots all the time.
So, a spark bench role for Primo would intrigue me. Do not want to see him here starting at all.

I’ll just dump this whole shebang out there re: the 4 spot. Ingram was flat down our board a ways. I probably like him better than the staff but hey, hoops opinions are like arseholes it that we all them. There were things with other dudes that have fallen through (so far). None of which I feel comfortable sharing because some enterprising jackwad (likely dressed head to toe in purple) could go to the NCAA and claim tampering. Anyways, the lack of KU caliber 4s in the portal has the staff on the hunt. I’m not going to say scrambling or anything like that because my dudes it’s April 5 and the portal doesn’t close for another 5 weeks and the draft deadline is like 3 months out. So they’ve been hard at work hunting DUDES. Hence Ingram back on the board as a possibility. The shine has worn off Cal for guys in the program (see their transfers page, and Oscar passing up 7 figures to play pickup ball in some backwater) so there’s opportunity to be had if certain things go right. We have PT, an appealing NIL program, and the undisputed king of college hoops at the helm. They aren’t hurting for guys interested. It’s working to find the best 3-4 we can because last year’s talent was unacceptable and Billy Eugene Self is over that shit. The king has returned.

@kuballin10 You have to look beyond the scope of the tournament. He had his best game ALL YEAR against MSU. It’s an outlier. Tang made some very candid public comments about the situation that basically he doesn’t think Massoud as a starter gets them to where they want to be and he wants to start in his last season hence the transfer.

Basically, Bamba looks like a perfect fourth option on a legitimately good team, or a solid second option on an average team. "

@BShark for sure. And tbh I’m on Cuffe’s side here. He and KUAD signed a 4 year deal in effect. He’d be losing the very nice KU housing, NIL money, and apparently he has a gf at KU too. He’s upholding his end of the deal.
