Chuck more three’s, play matador defense and let whatever big athletic 4&5 man stuff guys at the rim
Works when you have big time athletes protecting the paint so guards can be more aggressive

Wish we would hear something about SOMEBODY showing at least some interest in KU -been stone quiet. I really do think that maybe even if there is any truth to it or not , I think maybe that Other Schools have heard the rumblings that Coach Self might be calling it quits THIS YEAR and they are taking that and running with it against us

I don’t feel so bad now. LOTS of other big time schools losing 2-8 guys to the portal.
Unlucky that KU is also losing some seniors to graduation at the same time.

Flory’s athleticism and ability to protect the rim is what we need at the 5
Pair that with DP and White’s length defensively and we are good
Assuming White plays the 3 and Self looks for another big in the portal so he can play his two bigs

@kuballin10 most KU players (especially freshmen) are in all online classes. Even if they’re in the portal guys finish out the semester or they jeopardize being eligible at their next stop

Tbh i still assume that we will be several years out from any chance of a title with the return of Flory. It means we avoided a nuclear meltdown this offseason and next year will be enjoyable to watch. Much needed continuity.

Tre is a really nice role player. Guard, rebound, be a threat from deep. Exact role TBD by other additions. But he’s a really smart player who will embrace his role. He’s much much more McCullar than Storr.

Most of this smoke is coming from Auburn people. Their Rivals writer said Flory back to KU and Tahaad leaving is likely. They were recently linked with another big man in the portal too…
Not saying it’s 100% by any means, but it’s at least interesting.

It likely is a pretty fair number. Again not saying it’s done, but KU seemed to back off other bigs again while Auburn started looking around some more on Thursday. Just connecting some dots it at least looks good better right now than it did a few days ago.

I will say I know nothing here. He could very well still end up at Auburn.
The Dix recruitment was a common reminder that the initial chatter is almost always correct. His mom wanted him at Creighton and everything else was just about making sure Creighton paid up. Hopefully not the case with Flory/Auburn here.
