I’m honestly just thrilled we’re getting athletes again. It was such a crazy thing to watch last year with us being unathletic and not being able to shoot.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I should clarify you can’t be Bama and not defend at all. As @BShark said you gotta do both which we’d all agree with.
What I’m saying is offense is more important. The best defense with a hand in a guys face he can still hit the shot cause these dudes are talented.
My point for O>D is when uconn played sdsu 2 years ago. SDSU was the great defensive team but labored to score (that sort of team sound familiar year in and year out around these parts???).

@BShark Honestly at this point it doesn’t matter who they are. Until they set foot on campus in the spring the possibility of bolting is very real. Non binding contracts and neither party’s word is worth much - Bill will recruit over them in a heartbeat and they will take more money elsewhere if offered.

@bskeet Unfortunately we’d have to lose someone to pick up Brea. Additionally his final list are all heavy hitters. Uconn, UK, UNC, Duke, and KU - most of which have much more PT to offer than we do…

@PharmacyHawk honestly there’s just no rush to announce it. If he wants to wrap up classes at Bama and talk things over with his family that’s all fine with the staff. His spot at KU is secure.

@kuballin10 some coaches do hotbox kids into committing (more common in football, though Lance really grills guys to make sure that’s what they want) but Bill really doesn’t. Rushing a kid is usually bad for you. If he wants to take a few days or weeks or whatever that’s his prerogative. Shoot he might just want to finish finals first

Yea, sucks, but I still dislike it. I can’t wait to see what college sports looks like in 5 years. No way it’s the same. Sorry for the sidetrack.
