So for my own personal sanity , Sooo we pretty much in not so round about way told Spears and Morris it would be better if they found somewhere else- -without coming right out and saying we don’t want you here not that I disagree about taking them - it’s just that if we really not that interested then why have them visit ?
I mean if they contact and inquire and we are not that interested why not just come out and say ehh no sorry probably not worth your or our time to make a visit. - -don’t dangle them – just come out and say - -Thanks but no Thanks we are exploring other options - Save everybody’s time.

Unpopular opinion, if this team doesn’t get Dickinson and a wing/Kevin to return. We will be lucky to finish in the top 3 of conference and likely get swept by KSU.

They get a wing and they’ll win the conference. Even with Udeh/KJ/Zuby playing the 5. Udeh showed elite flashes of being a rim running lob threat and defender.

so given we have one scholarship left and it’s being held for hunter. Do we just pray that Tyson doesn’t commit to cal over the weekend? Or put the full court press on mgbako if hunter doesn’t come.

So with Morris comittment, kind of Screws us of any chance with Tyson doesn’t it ? - – unless Cj or Cuffe move on - -this only leaves us presently with ONE Scholi and un questionably that would be for Hunter-pretty well settles it for Tyson to Cal looks like unless we can free up anothr spot.
Thing I really don’t understand is thought Morris wanted to play more on ball PG - and going into the off Season/portal we really didn’t need another PG , doesn’t El Marko play some point ? - if he does then you have Juan and El Marko ,Now Morris ? -not enough balls for PG if tht’s the case

@TYOHawk we will be super young in several key spots. Udeh has potential for sure but unless he turns in to TRob over the summer you’re gonna be disappointed in him quick. In the new land scape of college athletics I don’t think you can develop talent because it won’t stick around long enough. If this team would stay completely together for 2 years they could cut down the nets. But I’d bet good money they don’t.

Will we be that young outside of the potential bench? Timberlake/Harris/Dickinson are tenured veteran guys. KJ played in a lot of big games as well.

Yea, with all the NCAA stuff that is about to hit (and has hit), this is not a great time to have a guy like that on the roster. PR nightmare next season potentially.
I guess the saving grace is that maybe it’s just us diehard fans that really notice the fine print stuff about Morris, etc.

Surely you got to be joking with that statement right lol. - -Tang better judge of talent ? - - -Nowell was already there & Johnson are the only two that you could begin to compare talent- lte’s wait and see how Tang has done with recruits after 20 Seasons - -not ONE. to say Tang is a better Judge of Talent the our HOF Coach roflmao. - Ok , Ok , I’ll be all right . I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed to see us land a recruit/transfer, let alone a former 5 star. To be fair I don’t know the kid or the situation extensively, but ugh… def not excite about rooting for someone accused of his deeds. I guess this gets filed as one of those moments we trust Bill and the staff! I must admit I was kinda excited about the possibility of that Quaker entering the portal (Dingle), but this seems to seal that deal. There is still a lot that can and will change before June. Hopefully we get some good news early next week!
Sorry if this has become a sore subject lol, just letting my feelings out in my safe Jayhawk Tree (before I go back to lurking ^^)

Love KJ to death , great energy, yet mercy the kid is gonna have to bust his ass over the summer to develop some kind of an outside shot and work on his rebounding habits - -no way is he a 4 right now - hoping nothing but the best for KJ - work , work , work.

I hear ya, but without adding a SF or another wing that’s all I see. He has proven he can defend multiple positions and he is a strong, hard working kid. Similar numbers to when Kevin Young was here. Effort doesn’t always show up on box scores, but you always need that guy. Hunter can keep the defense honest to a point, and if you ever needed Udeh in there you could swap to Marcus for his shooting. Just can’t have KJ and Udeh in at the same time.

thing is we need scoring from every position , because think w might havt trouble scoring because I just really don’t think we end up with Hunter- I wish to GOD we could but I just feel 50/50 at best on him - so KJ has to score got put in the work if he is gonna be at the 4

Geez, you guys make it sound like this guy is Brandon Miller level bad. Unless im missing something, he is accused of pulling his ex out of bed when she was asleep? And a bra got snapped in the process? Not good but seems to me like maaaaybe just a little bit the reactions are a bit overblown.
Of course i want our team to be perfect character people but nobody is perfect and everyone is human and has made mistakes in their life. Those that live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.

@RockkChalkk there’s more to it. At one point she got a restraining order. Really who among us hasn’t had a significant other go to court to keep us from contacting or being in proximity to them
