Still haven’t heard or seen anything about the Ladies tonight - -OR the guys tomorrow night . - Ladies surpose to tip off in 15 minutes AT NEBRSKA would think it would be cancelled but heard nothing.
As far as I know guys are still on tomorrow night - -anybody hearing anything ?

Well our Ladies took their 1st loss to Nebraska tonight at Nebraska - - 85 - - 79 in 3 overtimes. - -Just couldn’t gt that one stop when needed.
We trailed by as many as 13 - -fought back and it was on from their. - -Nebraska really good. - Hadn’t lost at home -beat the crap out of Maryland by 20 plus and are 10-3 now, Nebraska had been ranked earlier this year. - -Still really proud of the Ladies took 3 overtimes to gt beat - - Still doing good ladies - - MERRY CHRISTMAS - ROCK CHALK

@BeddieKU23 Their fans love him, well at least most it seems. They have an overdeveloped sense of their teams skill level. Last year was kind of hilarious. Both Iowa and UW were picked to finish in the lower half of the league. While Greg Gard turned a pick of finishing 1oth into a tie for the league, Iowa turned a pick of finishing 9th into 4th and earning a bye in the BIG tournament. While Gard was hands down the winner, many Hawkeye fans Fran should have gotten it for his ‘accomplishment’ of earning a bye. And they were serious. I’m glad I’m not a homer like that!

Big 12 went 4-0 last night. TCU beat Utah in a close one on the road and K St held the mighty Radford Highlanders at home to an 8 pt win. Iowa St’s game was canceled against Peyton Manning’s favorite word at the line or scrimmage.

I watched a bit of that game, the refs were not good. That was a physical game the refs were letting get out of control.

@KirkIsMyHinrich My complicated sports world includes Illinois as that’s where I grew up and while I will pull for them this program is a constant disappointment. One of the greatest states for producing talent and it continues to endure embarrassments like this. I was excited for the Brad Underwood hire, but not thinking he has what it takes.
Last spring when I was in the United Center for the elite 8 and they were announcing the players and coach after we won a lady screamed “F… You Bill Self”. I think Illinois fans recognize he was the one who was going to lead them to the promised land and they’re still bitter about losing him.
But as bad as Mizzou looked against us, this result is just a shocker tonight.
That being said there’s lots of shockers going on in college hoops this year. If you just look up through this thread there’s plenty of evidence of a sort of parity in our great game.

Pretty good question to ask. I think he needs some kids to move on and we all know the who’s.
I’m wondering if they will get it together later on but so far it hasn’t looked good. I’m certainly not going to complain as his failure to win adds more separation in the all time win total

I tend to agree there. I’m not a fan of him but I respect him still. Not sure he’s adapted to the game as of late.

Missouri also smoked Illinois. At this point, I think it’d be safe to say Missouri is probably an at-large team at this point.

I root against UK even more than Mizzou. Even though our true rivalry is with Mizzou… UK is on our level (except for class).
With that UK loss to Mizzou we gained one more game in the overall wins competition plus… I just can’t stand Calipari. To me, he has always been a subpar D1 coach who only exists on recruiting.
Mizzou is a much better team after our beat down. I felt sure they would improve because beat downs tend to do that to teams… especially undefeated teams.

I can’t imagine Kansas having a group of numbskulls like that. I hate to inject politics in this… so I won’t… I mean… I won’t blame a political party. I will just say that there is some pretty unintelligible people out there who live in a world of hate, disinformation, and now fueled by conspiracy theories. No… it doesn’t definitely mean GOPrs because I’ve known these traits in both parties. I’m bringing that group to attention because the threat you posted sounds like that type of crowd.
Do we have a large amount of these followers at Kansas? I hope not. I hope no one is talking about our coaches, players, and administration like this.
I hope people don’t respond to my post here with politics. I only mentioned it because it is constantly being mentioned in politics today.
