The thought process in that situation is that you make a quick 2, and foul and repeat the cycle until Gonzaga misses a FT and then shoot a 3 to tie the game. With shooting a 3 in that situation, even with a make, if Gonzaga makes both FT’s on their next possession, you still need another 3.

@Texas-Hawk-10 yeah i think it was 11 seconds there. Then they foul nimhard who is an 87% ft shooter on a designed press break to get the ball to him and the guy says “oh you cant foul him” just smh

Down goes Illinois. Houston looked good. Cockburn looked like a placeholder until he gets in the draft. Reminds me of a freshman Doc.

Iowa State playing their tails off on D - -and believe it or not they actually leading by one at the half - -Pretty dang good when you have to play 5-8 - -these refs smell so bad of Big 10. - -Must of got a call seeing we can’t have 3 Big 10 teams losing all in the same day. - -They not even offering any lube. - Total BS. - Some of these calls are just insane

@jayballer67 watched a bit of that game and caught the same scent. Big 10 is supposed to be THE basketball conference so better make sure they are well represented in the sweet 16…

Then a non call on a check into the boards by Iowa state. Maybe the refs just suck… ineptitude as bad as favoritism.
