from what I was reading after their last game Fletcher made some kind of statement. - -Haven’t seen what he said or anything but must have been pretty bad , he went on twitter and apologized to the Big Blue Nation saying he was sorry. - -He played two minutes in the game , not sure if he was upset about playing time or what , may have made negative statement about other players or what.
They said he was visably upset towards the end of the game. Cal asked him to step away , not leave or anything although I think in the end he will probably transfer out - I am not sure how long he is to be away from the team , will be interesting to see how it plays out

Cal said that Fletcher’s mom is in sync with Cal on this. Very odd situation.

Well UK is 1-5 right now , they have 2 non Con games left - - Louisville & Texas - -will they win either one ? - -Even if they split they will be 2-6 going into the conference - they are in trouble lol

We’ve talked a lot about the poor officiating this season. Northwestern is trying to close out Indiana in Bloomington. They’re up 5 with the ball under a minute and the ref calls a carry. I mean it was, but when was the last time you saw a ref call a carry? It happens all of the time of course in the college game, but rarely call, but in crunch time, they call a carry. Unbelievable.

you know is it just me ? - -maybe it is , but has anyone else know or it sure seems like that the Media is almost just willing /begging Kentucky to pull through games - win games and get on any kind of roll do something positive , so they can talk again about what a GREAT program Kentucky is and what a GREAT coach Calipari is?- - almost just whimpering so bad for Kentucky - -about makes me sick

Before they got beat down by Wisconsin, Louisville played powerhouses like Evansville, Prarie View A&M, SHU and WKU.

LOL, I’m on a little road trip today driving through Kentucky. All decked out in KU gear by the way. So I find the postgame on the radio of Kentucky/Louisville. It’s a Kentucky broadcast. The announcer is interviewing a Kentucky player who missed a game tying shot. The announcer says in a paraphrase ‘you have a nice little fadeaway jumper but you don’t shoot it enough. Don’t you think you should shoot it more?’ The poor kid was speechless that some radio hack would ask him a question like that. I was laughing.
Also laughing as the thought of KU wins approaching Kentucky’s total. Not sure of the current tally but we’ve certainly narrowed the gap this year and will likely continue to do so.

Saw that Calipari was crying today, basically whining about how he had made a mistake by scheduling so many tough games. What do they have, 7 or 8 or 9 McDonald’s All-Americans and yet are 1-6?

@approxinfinity I didn’t know UVA could even play at a pace that would allow 100 points from a a single team.
Imagine a Wisconsin game allowing 100 points without it going to overtime.

what they have is a cluster f - - - that’s what they have. A bunch of one on one players that have a me , me , me , attitude and this is the result. - - They still have Texas , their fans think they will lose that one too - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I don’t think with six losses already (and I realize they were non-conference) that they will win their conference, let alone make the tournament.

@wissox Coming into this season, KU was 16 wins behind UK (2318 to 2302). KU will catch up, but it might be next year.

Well the guys were suppose to be back yesterday I heard. - - -Coach was talking about how they needed to find things /something for the kids to do - -they needed to find something to have fun, after being cooped up

We shall see. KU does have the protocols in place to get through the season without issue with them basically being isolated from everyone. I can’t speak for what other teams are doing or what ways they are keeping things going but KU definitely seems to have an edge in how the players have their own dorm etc

@BeddieKU23 It’s not the players that are likely to cause a suspension of the program, it’s the coaching and support staff that interact with the players that aren’t pretty much isolated in McCarthy that will likely be the issue for KU.
As long as none of the players test positive this week, I’m not worried about a player being the one responsible for an outbreak and shutdown.

@wissox The Wichita Eagle newspaper reported that KU started this season down 16 games to Kentucky but have now narrowed that spread to being down 9. The writer expressed doubt that KU could completely close the gap and take the lead, but I’m routing for it as hard as I know how:)!
