Im not down on Zach either. He seems to have active hands on D. He doesnt seem to finish well but he can bring energy, 5 fouls and size and thats useful.

@MR11 I’ve been fortunate enough to sit in many seats in AFH. My favorite was 5 rows behind the KU bench (free from 30 yr season ticket holders) and my least favorite up in 13a or 9a. Easily the worst seats and hard to get in and out of.

Of the last 25 years, the 2002 KU team was the only KU team in honestly thought might never lose. That team was incredible, but not winning the title kind of overshadows that. The 2007 team gets lost in the shuffle as well because of 2008, but that team was basically as good as the 2008, swapping a bit of consistency for more explosiveness. We will never know what the 2020 team could have been. If they win the national title, they probably go down as one of the most dominant KU teams ever. That group really was robbed of potentially a place in history as an all time type of team. A title puts them up there with the 97 and 2002 KU teams in terms of dominance, but with a title to back it up. Maybe the best KU team of the last 50 years? We will never know what a dominant March run does for their legacy.

I have nothing but respect for the UNC fanbase. They were very gracious when we beat them in 22. Still want to pound them, though.

As I said in an initial post, discussion and debate is the primary purpose of this type of article because it is the offseason for college basketball. Pretty much every site that covers college basketball is going to be putting out articles that are subjective in nature with the intent of generating debate and traffic because that’s all there is right now for college basketball.
