Texas A&M CC

  • Tiller with a calm thoughtful interview. Nice!

  • Definitely had a conscientious effort on the glass and defense tonight. Man Elmarko just looks like complete horse manure and that maybe offensive to the manure. Ngala looks like much a better player at this point, Elmarko is looking like the next Juan where he never gets pulled no matter what. He got schooled repeatedly to the rim and was so loose with his dribble. He definitely gets the shit bird of the night award.

  • Elmarko just has no feel for the game and can’t get low enough to dribble around people. Think part of it is coming back from a serious injury but it’s still brutal to watch

  • If u guys live in KS did u see the northern lights? Look outside. Got pics from Lawrence. Killing it! I even saw it down here. All over!

  • @Crimsonorblue22 Cool! Great to see. Not sure if you saw my post above about seeing them in lawrence in the 80’s.

  • Yes! They’re visible from Mass St

  • @wissox I saw your post afterwards. I’ve been outside. I’ve always wanted to see the NL’s. Sounds like rural KS was treated too. Heard they’re to be even better tmrw.

  • I can’t see anything from my house

  • Bryson Tiller Highlights vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (11 Pts, 8 Rebs, 3 Blks)

  • Flory Bidunga Highlights vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (12 Pts, 8 Rebs, 4 Blks)

  • Kohl Rosario Highlights vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (16 Pts, 5 Rebs)

  • Ok, question for those of you in the know…

Why are the bench guys wearing these gold warmup shirts?

I saw the football coaching staff wearing gold and black colors as well last week.

Better serve a good purpose, or please lose ‘em!

  • Veterans Day

  • Self said after the game Peterson’s hamstring was tight after practice yesterday morning and they decided not to chance it for whatever that’s worth!

  • Frankly i am fine with DP focusing on showcase games and the tourney. I believe this teams ceiling will be determined by the play of others, DP is the floor… like the floor on the 3rd story.

  • If I was an NBA GM I’d be very curious about all Peterson’s soft tissue injuries. At this point I absolutely would not draft him with a top 5 pick. He’s that good, but if Peterson can only play 20 minutes once a week in college, he’ll never make an NBA schedule.

Shades of late career Eric Berry. This is concerning.

  • A reputable poster on 247 said they were at the GB game and saw him grabbing his hamstring when he was with the trainer. This is all really unfortunate.

DP isn’t getting picked top 5 regardless of his injury issues. This freshman class is very stout. I’d guess he goes 8-12 at this point. He’s definitely not the best freshman in CBB this year.

  • A resident of our neighborhood off of I-95 here in SC (10 miles from Georgia; 20 miles from the Atlantic due south) posted several beautiful rosy pix of the lights. We are right on the edge of the “visible on the horizon” band, and over 400 miles south of Larryville’s latitude. I’ll look tonight!

I don’t see a mock that doesn’t have him going top 2. He’s been everything thought and more. He’s a top 5 pick.

  • @Kcmatt7 we’ll see how it goes here but I’d rank him As about the 6th best player right now. Most of the mock drafts I’ve seen haven’t been updated since play started. It will stink if he goes number 2 and we do nothing with him. That much I know lol

  • The day after:

Kind of an uneventful game, huh. But we like wins!

Kohl was the star of the show by far. As Self says — Bouncy. He looked confident, too. He was very vocal in on court huddles. Like that in a young player.

The game was hella sloppy though. Expected I guess without our leader DP.

It’s official, Elmarko is a hot mess. I guess the question is can he be salvaged at some point this year, next year, or?

Every game so far I wonder where Trey White was hiding, but then the box score shows him with semi decent-ish stats.

Good to see a smile, or sigh of relief, on Jayden’s face after a made bucket. Keep em coming!

  • @Crimsonorblue22 Yes, they’re awesome to see. Been privileged to spend a lot of time in Northern Wisconsin where they’re fairly common.

  • @rockchalkjayhawk I spend a good amount of time watching Illini basketball and what you’re seeing is what you’re going to get from White.

Agreed on Elmarko. I think he needs a scenery change.

Hmmm on Trey. If he fits in and can rebound some more, i’d be happy i guess. He just seems invisible most games for some reason.

  • Now I get the Rosario that was just lurking below the surface. Dawson is also moving to the hoop and that was nice. Our on the ball defense was effective without fouling. We have a team that is able to stay with their man. Tiller getting a DD makes us start to think, hooolee freaking cow. Melvin the Council is so fleet of foot with the ball he creates easy assist openings and will realize he can get to the rim himself. Tre finally garnered several boards as one of our posters stated he needed to hit his stat level from last year. Flory is showing he can score and board in double digits while shooting 80%. Jamari is filling his intended role and understands Bill’s method of play. Super Gnat nailed two more threes yes he did it from deepdom. Sami’s is a raw talent when he gets comfortable with his size.

  • @kjayhawks Mercy man , not sure what you been watching but it’s not Darryn. He absolutely will be drafted from 1st to 3rd in the draft. I just got through listening to a group of NBA scouts last night and every single one of them talking about DP could of played in the NBA and would of done very well. This is coming from Scouts that evaluate talent for a living and have yet hear a single one say that he wouldn’t be the # 1 or 2 in the draft.

If he was play in a game and turned loose by Coach he would score 40, analysts are saying he will score 40. Plays well so easy, I’ve heard many many many people talk about how it makes it look so easy , doesn’t break a sweat, Sorry just wonder who your watching bit IT’ NOT DP

Not trying to argue anything. Certainly a good class of freshman.

But if you want something more up to date, DP is leading betting odds at +120 to go #1. Dybantsa is +190 and Boozer is +240. That’s on Draftkings rn.

Nobody else is better than 100 to 1 odds.

  • @Kcmatt7 interesting, I’m hoping he’s the clear cut one by the end of the season which would in turn mean we had a pretty good year.
