I know there’s been a lot of movement already, but one I saw today was Dan Hurley being linked to the Nuggets. He’s had his flirtation with the Lakers in the past. Does anyone actually think his antics would fly in the NBA?

Norm Roberts has announced his retirement so there’s one assistant spot open.

He is one of the assistants that kind of surprised me.

Coach Q is leaving the program. His role opening up is the closest thing Self had to GM. Definitely curious to see how Self fills this spot because his role of community relations and building the culture within the program could very easily be transitioned into a GM role.

Self is a total control freak he isn’t hiring a gm and as essentially said that without flat out telling the media
You can see this in the lack of freedom he gives players in his system…this expands to everything in the program

I know he has a son recovering from cancer. Sounds like his choice, but I wonder. They’ll miss his positivity.

It’s a great hire by all accounts. She is by no means new to the program either

@approxinfinity Yeah congrats to her on the promotion but people hoping/thinking Self would pull in a legit gm - this is the furthest thing from it.
