I think I’ll pass on Cooper. AZ kept answering time after time after time but they couldn’t keep it up the last three minutes. We kept on scoring when we needed it until the end. Two nice FT’s by Rylan and Zeke in addition to his scoring got boards down the stretch. Thank you hunter.

Juan with 7 assists and 7 points in the second half, nice to see I thought that would be the norm for him this season and he would average around 10 and 10.

This year is different. Performance in the tournament may make a big difference in seeding. Definitely want to avoid an 8-9 game. 6 or 7 seed better for hopes of making a 2-3 game run. Remember that Alabama reached the FF with double digit losses last year.

Considering our first game is likely either Utah or UCF, I’d prefer to not take a quad 2 loss going into the NCAA Tournament. The quarterfinals game would be either BYU or Arizona (they split so I don’t know who has the tiebreaker). If it’s BYU, I’d like to avenge that embarrassing performance in Provo.

just reading from Arizona site, and the Article said that Arizona’s most likely would be KU again as KU earned the 6 seed but KU would have to beath the 11 seed in Wednesdays game to meet Arizona again

Anytime you have 15 assists with 1 turnover from your starting guards-- out rebound your opponent by 6-- shoot right at 50 % for the game your going to have a good shot at winning the game

Wow, that was interesting. Nonexistent bench production. We had so much depth coming into the season seemingly. I won’t beat that drum of what happened again.
I was disappointed to miss almost all of the first half as I’d recorded the game and prior game must’ve gone really long. When I turned it on there was like 3 minutes left in the half and we had a really comfortable lead. Then they chipped away and we were suddenly losing and I was glum. But then something unexpected happened for this season. The starters locked it down. Started defending, making shots, looking like Jayhawks of old, and put them away. Zona’s a good team, we’re ok. 20 win season again for like 40 in a row and we’ll hear our name called next Sunday once again. Expecting about a 7 seed.

I am proud of these seniors for today and I don’t want that to get overlooked. This is maybe the most frustrating senior class I can recall but they really played well today. Seniors accounted for 74 of 83 points, 19 of 22 assists and 26 of 36 rebounds. Going forward we definitely need more from Rylan and the bench but have a DAY!

I was at the game… lotta Arizona fans there… I sat next to many… always great to see the awe in their faces about the whole Allen fieldhouse vibe and insane energy. Also it was great to see the crowd erupt for Mayo Harris and Adams… not so much Hunter. After the game, for the senior introductions, Self spoke about all the ups and downs, and I think he mentioned a murder… was that in reference to Jaun’s past?

@Bosthawk Juan’s little brother was murdered by a supposed friend in his own home back in 2019. Was a big story in the 2022 FF run. Juan’s father whom was a notorious gangster died a few years earlier. Juan was very lucky and credits the Braun family for helping turn his life around. I was lucky enough to meet CBs mom at a game in 2021 and she is a fiery woman that would put most people in their place. As much as I dislike Juan’s game at times, it would be impossible to not root for him. A lot like Jamari Traylors story, Kansas basketball may have saved both of their lives.

Anyone else laugh at ESPN having us at an 8 coming into today? I don’t think I’ve seen a rating system with us worse than the mid 20s. I’d think we are a 6 seed at the moment
