Alot of lazy defense the second half led to getting beat at the line as well. Also shouldn’t discount the fact we should go into half up 15 plus on missed bunnies, etc.
Disappointed that they got beat by a team that just had more want to when it mattered most.

Yeah missed three front ends of 1-and-1. That’s a lot of points on the floor

People blaming the refs are silly, we could’ve had the ball down 1 if we just rebounded. Or win by 5 if upperclassmen made the free ones.

Gradey was bad that’s why we lost today Free throws as well
They were determined to stop Jalen and other guys like KJ, Kevin and Juan did step up which was nice to see

Shoot. We win this with the last set of refs. It was just a perfect storm of a decent team playing against a short handed Jayhawk team. Gradey’s disappearing act is why you don’t rely on freshmen. Not much of a KU legacy. Xavier like.

There is so much that goes into being a HC. Working the refs. Calling plays. Changing how you defend screens. All that good stuff.
Norm, for as great of an assistant as he is, is an assistant for a reason.

The refs didn’t call 2 clear fouls on Kevin before. It evens out.

Jaun was great overall. Ya Gradeys scoring was a big factor(lack there of) idk why Norm pulls him immediately after he hits his first from outside

It wasn’t lazy defense, it was foul issues meaning they couldn’t be aggressive anymore.

How many points do we think Self was worth here? At least 10?

@Texas-Hawk-10 once again we’ll have to disagree. That was definitely not the inspired defense we saw in the first 10-15 min of the game in my opinion

I watched live ou almost beat us in Allen and Bill gave up calling plays it was post Jalen and throw it to him hope for a foul
You can call plays all u want doesn’t mean guys execute

I’m beginning to question what exactly Norm brings to the team. It sure isn’t for lineup suggestions or set play input or really anything tangible as for in game adjustments.

You can tell that the initial game plan worked great. But then they adjusted and Norm never did

A lot of guys are great assistants and otro le beach coaches. In all sports.

He attacked on boards well
