OSU game. Starting a thread early today

Went 1-2 on my games today. But Michigan just pissed me off with a totally bush league alley oop when we decided not to play defense when losing by 7 and 2 seconds on the clock.

ISU cut the lead to 7 at half. Probably just close enough for them to warm up from 3 and win. I was hoping for a bigger halftime lead for TCU when they were up 14.

ā Mitch. Nice effort. Happy to see he keeps his attitude team first.
ā Grimes: Made two threes (yay), but otherwise invisible, other than the usual turnovers.
ā The flow of the game is interesting to me lately. Teams really make Dedric struggle to find a shot in the first half, then he finds his game after the break.
ā When Charlieās in, i wish we could find him regular spots on the floor to shoot from. Always seems to be hurling up 3s at the wrong time, place and distance.
ā KJ continues to be a hot mess. Oops, my bad. this is supposed to be a happy, positive thread since we won. ignore.
ā That McGriff is a beast. wouldnāt mind having him on our team to add some thuggy muscle.
ā Big Dave. Despite repeated calls for him to play more, iām starting to wonder if thatās the right thing. At least starting may not be his thing. Good energy off the bench. Maybe he can bring the hammer down on opposing players who are off to a hot start. Heās got the elbows for it. Charles Oakley style.
ā Ochai seems to be the most vocal player we have. New team leader? Own it.

@jayhawkcsg Agree, in general, about Q, but he did make a couple of nice passes and got into the lane a few times. I guess Iām really reaching here to look for good thingsā¦

Got us a win and always nice to be back at the Fieldhouse. I thought it was a good team win, we struggled to grab rebounds and make shots in the first. The Fieldhouse was quiet as a Monday morning church during the first aswell. Really donāt have much to complain about, Moore and KJ were not effective but I was pleased with the other guys. Grimes seemed to be more engaged and big David got some minutes.

McCormack is showing why he isnāt ready to play big minutes yet. Heās still totally lost out there. 4 offensive boards and 0 points today and still fairly lost on defense. It would be great to get him going, but he hasnāt shown anything this season that the light is coming on for him, at least with Grimes, thereās flickers every once in a while.

@Texas-Hawk-10 Very true, but thatās why him getting 10-15 minutes as he did today is important for his development IMO. He had a couple of easy dunks but fumbled them away. He decent on defense. KJs defense late first half was about as pathetic as Iāve ever seen.

They really need to change the intro video back to the decent music. The one they about 5 years ago was great, this newer one doesnt fire me up much.

ya I hear you - - wasnāt it different last year or the year before ? -They had one that just rocked the house - -like someone else said it just flat rocked the house would give you chills for sure - -this one - - - ehhhh ā not so much

I think they always play the one he posted, but then different hype ones right before jump ball. Short ones. The one I saw at nova game was come together, beatles one, but that was after the regular one. I canāt remember if that was the same hype one at Texas game, or isu game. Iām going next sat, Iāll try to pay attention!

@kjayhawks I donāt think theyāre that much different. They have to update them. I loved the dream on one, from a long time ago. I love the hype ones during the game to get the crowd going. I think we have a very creative video Dept.
