There’s a trend developing with this KU team. They play badly in the first half. Self makes halftime adjustments, meaning he screams and probably throws some chairs. And then KU plays better in the 2nd half and wins.

I don’t see why Vick is always setting up on the weak side. No one driving is dishing to him, and our guards in general are not even looking at him. We need some weave just to get Vick the chance to touch the ball.

Sitting Vick at the start of the last two games has really chilled Vick’s shot; he’s not in the offensive flow now.

They just played harder the last 5 minutes. The main issues with this four guard line up (which I still like) is poor rebounding, without Doke we have zero post presence, Dedric cant score against average bigs or defend them. The 3 pointers better start falling or not only will we lose tonight but Nova will absolutely blow our doors off with ease.

McCants was huge for them, scored their last 6 point including 2 dunks and had a big offensive rebound.

@HawkChamp I have not been even remotely impressed with his skills down low. Shooting the ball 20 times to get 18 isn’t good. He has had one good offensive game. I do like his rebounding and passing ability but overall offensively and defensively he hasnt shown me much.

@kjayhawks he’s had some really nice offensive showings, the Tennessee game being one of those. I’d say Grant Williams and Scholfied are better than any other forwards in the big 12.
