I’ll be watching this year even though USA is out. Starts up in June. Not sure if there are any other footy fans here, actually easily my #2 sport behind basketball.
Anyway I was watching some old games and I gotta say, any time someone complains about the refs the South Korea Italy game in 2002 is my new go to for showing what a fixed game really looks like. I actually root against Italy most of the time but wow that game was a complete travesty.

My interest has been more at the local level through coaching my kids and some school teams. I have so many sports to watch I’ve never gotten into it a whole bunch. But it is a great sport.
