KU shooting 34.2% from the field and 26.7% from 3. Amazing tha KU is ahead shooting this poorly; had the shot close to their average and is a double digit game.

If you tuned in at halftime and listened to the announcers, you would think KU was losing by 20.

@HawkChamp Wonder what they’ve been practicing. A bunch of 23 ft jumpers and out of control drives. Newman has been awful. No one has played well.

Svi is still unathletic, Graham is good but not great, Newman is delusional. Maybe Garrett can balance the team. Ugh, Vick still can’t play defense well enough.

Who is worse? Newman or Vick? I thought Newman would learn a thing or two from Frank Mason. Perhaps he’s just early Frank Mason right now.

@HawkChamp That’s what Frank Mason looked like for the better part of 3 seasons at Kansas. He really didn’t start figuring out how to drive and pass until pretty late into his ju lot season.

Why does Azubuike not cover the backside for the rebound there? Look at where the shot is from. Azubuike was at the front of the rim!

That was way too close for comfort. The one positive is that KU can shoot poorly and still beat a quality opponent, this will not happen every time so the team better not get too cocky because next time it might not be so lucky.

YA we do - - BUT on the other side of it - look at it this way we shoot 35% from the field, and Devonte go 3-14 from the filed -1-6 from 3 pt terrible from the free throw line - minus Preston, Really only 6 players tonight & STILL find a way to win.
We have just got to get Preston Back and hopefully get De-Sousa - get us some depth on that front line -Thankfully Doke didn’t get in foul trouble - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Missed you guys in chat. I think Malik will be better at hero ball if he adds a floater and better shot selection but Devonte might perfect the drive and kick.
