  @wissox I agree … but I think if you miss it, say, it comes to you and just bounces of your hands (accidentally – the refs judgment that it was really a miss. Like bouncing off your back), that’s not good enough to stop a subsequent dribble. Because there was no control. But if you control it by batting it to the ground, like a dribble, you can’t then hold it and dribble again. Because the bat to the ground is actually control. Interesting.

  I didn’t have an issue with Hill, the other guys acted like Duke was up 20 the whole game and seemed to be cheering them on fairly hard. Oddly enough I enjoy Bilas and Jay Williams, I think they call it as it is. I cant stand Greenberg or Fran. Overall the tournament commentors are light years above ESPNs IMO.

  @dylans You make a fair point. Although let’s be honest here for a second - how many KU teams have been historically great over the last 25 years? 2011 was really good, but not an all time type of team. Maybe that team could have won in a wide open year, but they weren’t world beaters. Same for 2016. Really good team, but not world beaters that you knew could beat any team, any style, any night. When I think of all time type teams, I think of that 2007 Florida team, the 2008 KU team, the 2009 UNC team and the 2012 UK team. Those teams established themselves as the team to beat fairly early in the year and even though each team lost games along the way, it wasn’t a surprise to see them standing under the confetti in April. Going back a ways, the 1992 Duke team and the 1996 Kentucky team fit that description as well. Maybe you throw the 1997 KU team and 2003 KU team, but there were other teams those years. But that’s the thing. You get one or two years where you have an all time great team that is incredible. Every other year, its you and a bunch of other really good teams in the mix.

  I don’t know. UVA won the ACC four of the last 6 years. Yes, last year they lost first round. Why? They didn’t shoot the 3 enough, and they didn’t have redundancy in the athleticism department and Hunter went down . Both things have been corrected. Keenly watching their success this post season. If their system can translate to post season success, I will be looking if they can maintain a lack of critical flaws with the talent they recruit.

  @cragarhawk I did think you meant KU. And you would have been right. Odd thing, a tourney with lots of chalk, means the seeding was perhaps done more correctly (at least arguably). But the games have been really boring either way as you mentioned.
