  I’m looking forward to watching Marcus Garrett run point next year. I don’t necessarily think it’ll be an upgrade over Dot, but I don’t think it’s as much of a downgrade as most. Obviously he’s not as explosive, but he makes up for it with his IQ. If he can continue to improve his shooting, he’ll be an absolute nightmare for other teams. Of course, in typical MG fashion, it won’t be flashy, but you’ll look after and see his stats and the W and think, Wow. This kid’s good. And that’s not even counting his defense.

  NET rankings aren’t as friendly As of Feb 5 2020 With KU sitting at #2 in the first bracket reveal and WVU on the two line, I’d say the committee doesn’t value NET above RPI yet.

  @KirkIsMyHinrich Based on those numbers the conference doesn’t look so bad. Not surprised that the Big 10 is on top of the ratings. Am surprised that Pac 12 is even rated that high. Much like the Big XII, it’s top-heavy, with a couple of teams that were supposed to contend (Washington & Oregon State) going into free fall. Happy for coach Haase at Stanford and Tad Boyle at Colorado, though. Always nice to see old Jayhawks do well…just not against us.

  @rockchalkwyo I like the use of “healthy”. Gethro has a some serious bounce which you don’t want to take away so how they build his strength with some bulk will be key. Will be interesting to see how he develops
