  You know how many times I’ve heard KU called K-State or the Kansas Wildcats? It’s sad that the announcers can’t get it right, but to put up the wrong graphic… Come on! You have time to prepare for that.

  @jaybate-1.0 I havent believed it myself until now. But, I think we can beat ISU tomorrow. If Perry is able to hold his own and be ok, not healed, just ok and our trey guns can shoot better. I think we can win. I think KU has a fair chance to win. They will absolutely be underdogs in the vegas odds. Thats cool. I hope KU knows this and hears that everyone thinks they can’t win. It gives them fuel. It makes them mad. An injured opponent that is mad and on the defensive? Bad news bears man.

  we are gonna have to hit shots outside of 3 feet today. Although Baylor does play out on shooters. They also in the last game stopped the ball from getting into the middle which we exploited the first match-up. So it will be interesting to see what happens with our bad ball offense. We need a good start, we need shots to fall, and we need to play like the season depends on it. It’s going to take basically the best game we’ve played all year to pull this one out. You know Baylor doesn’t want to go 0-3 against KU.

  @Hawk8086 I doubt that Perry would be spinning on a healthy knee. Teams are scouting his spin move and denying it. He wont do it injured. The staff will get him some good legal pain meds before the game and wrap his leg in the best knee brace money can get, not to mention he has been getting treatments on it Atleast twice per day since the injury. He’ll be ok…or he wont.

  @justanotherfan I believe Foster is a very talented player but also a cancer in the program. Once he realized how good he was he decided he was bigger than the program and acted accordingly…coaches don’t like that and he was benched several times; unfortunately, his attitude was contagious and resulted in frustration to the older, more disciplined players. He is probably one or two years away from being NBA material so the question is: does he grow up, toe the line and play one more year at KSU or does he transfer and sit one year? Given his rocky relation with Weber it is hard to see him staying another year, so maybe he ends up playing in China…which seems to be what Europe used to be.

  @brooksmd I use Firefox almost uniquely with KUBUCKETS with no problems, although I occasionally get some error messages indicating that a plugin is taking too much time, but that seems to be mostly an Adobe Flash/ESPN video problem.

  Thursday legal spin seems to indicate that Cliff has presented everything in his possession to the NCAA. Outside documents still not available to NCAA (which won’t sit down with Cliff until those documents are rendered). Legal counsel looks to be bullying into position for future lawsuit(s) on Cliff’s behalf. Counsel perhaps hopeful that NCAA will continue to stonewall? If so, most probably will turn into a time- extended multi-million dollar lawsuit vs. NCAA and maybe the agent/lending company. KU Hoops left in passive neutered position of tangential onlooker.

  @ZIG I must have missed where Coach Self indicated that Perry is 100%; TTBOMK, what he said is that IF he is 100% he will play. In your own words, this is a “tuneup” game and by definition, those are the ones in which you try new/different things and not the ones you go balls to the wall to win. We know what Perry can do, it would help to know what Mickelson and Lucas can do under actual game conditions, wouldn’t you agree that it would help KU more to tweak the team now than at at the NCAA?

  @BeddieKU23 He is a sophomore now so he would have to sit one year if he transfers. He is not ready for the NBA now but could be in one year; his best bet is to grow up and stay at KSU, but I am not sure how that would work with Weber. I bet KSU wishes it still had Martin whose team just eliminated Missouri last night and sent them to one of their worst seasons ever…not a good time to be a MU fan, not that there ever is such a time

  @wrwlumpy Aw, nooo, lumpy…No shame intended! Your pix was profound to me, as it quickly reminded me of who I was when college age vs how I think now. Now I’d only cringe for the girl’s sake if she had low self esteem, or if I think of medical issues wt-related. Perspectives change as Ive gotten older, new angles to consider…but the hollywood babes (& wife) still are 10-scale judged…all in harmless fun!
