  @BShark Absolutely agree about Garrett and Leech. Leech is a guy you get today. Barrett is a great talent but is probably a guy that slow plays it like every top recruit. Garrett has the chance to play the 1-3 positions, making him that hybrid guard that you can stick anywhere on the perimeter. I have no doubts that Garrett will be one of our best players by year 2, he just has that game that translates in the KU system.

  @HawkChamp Agrend. You can force ISU into bad shots but getting the rebound is always the issue. They play really soft defense as always. We will have to bring our best game to win in Ames

  North Carolina looks really good right now. But as we all know, looking good now means squat for making a March run. Example: our 2011-12 team was playing pretty poorly in November and December but improved throughout the year and made a run in March. I wouldn’t want to be in North Carolina’s region though - that’s why a one seed is so important.

  If only we could be Duke/UNC and get 5 stars to stay 3-4 years. I suppose we did with Wayne and Perry but they seem to do it all the time. 3-4 year players are definitely important. I will miss Frank and Graham.

  Lol the SOS is way off early in the year, according to ESPN UNI has the toughest SOS. Idk how looking at it besides they play Xavier twice with the way it worked out and they are #2 RPI team.

  I like how Coleby competed the other night. He still can’t jump or move the way he used to. He was a fairly athletic guy at Ole Miss. He’s got long arms, can rebound/box out and offered some rim protection at least the other night. That looked like the best option we had Tuesday and maybe going forward. I respect Lucas for what he did for this team last year but until he turns it around I’d sit him and make him earn his position again. The fouls whether bogus or not are really hurting this team
