  @KansasComet To me work ethic includes doing all the things that make you better at what you do. In Sherron’s case it would involve diet discipline, which by his own admission he could not do. No question genes worked against him, but It is not unique to him; many other players with similar tendencies were and are able to control their weight and have long careers in the NBA.

  As demonstrated over and over it requires much more effort to stay positve than be negative. Personally I try to stay as positive as possible as negativity is contagious and generally not very constructive. All doom and gloom all the time is lazy and counter productive if you want positive outcomes. Not directed at anyone in specific, just sayin’

  @sfbahawk Phil never struggled to win with talent. Spolstra didn’t and Kerr is not getting the most out of the talent. It’s best of seven series, not the NCAA crapshoot, the most talented team should win if the coach is up to the task.

  @ralster Good eval of guards. So, in thinking about it, I came to a firm conclusion that Hinrich and Collison were the best two 4-yr players at KU at the same time. How fun was it to watch that combo in action?!!! That was a virtual guidebook on the benefits of having teammates be so familiar with each other. The huge improvement in FM this year is due in no small part to the experience he has in one more year with DG and LL. Vick, too.
