  @HawkChamp I can understand your concern and anything can happen in the tournament. I feel that this team is on a mission and all players has bought in the team first concept. They have learned the lesson from past mistakes and they are determined in achieving their goals. I also feel that Self has changed a lot this year in that he is letting them play with a free mind. This has been a huge factor in the success this season. Self’s coaching has been brilliant.

  @stoptheflop Yep, kudos to Vick for not skipping a beat on that play. Some players in that situation may have hesitated just long enough to lose the moment.

  If we win a NC, but lose Graham…certainly would take that. Would be harder to lose him if we don’t win it all. Either way, I hope he does what he thinks is best for him. And hopefully he makes the right decision.

  @JayHawkFanToo While true you could technically comp just about any player not at a basketball factory like Oak Hill that way. When there is a clear cut best player (usually the case with a sought after recruit) then they are going to have to ball a loooot. That’s why stats really do not mean much and it’s about evaluating skills and how you think they will translate which is an inexact science.

  @drgnslayr To be fair, KU is statistically better rebounding team than Purdue. The margin is very slim, but stats are stats.

  @stoptheflop He was everywhere. He denied the post feed numerous times in the first half when the result seemed to be hanging in the balance. We might have been down double digits if not for what we did on numerous entry passes of theirs.

  I’m actually kind of hoping Oregon gives us a good game, a kind of grind it out slugfest. Overconfidence is something we’re going to have to guard against, and to be honest, last nights butt whooping means nothing, just like 2003’s butt whooping of Marquette in the final four, if we don’t finish this deal with a NC. Of course it’d be fun if we kept winning by 30, but I don’t think we will. There’s too much good competition ahead of us.
