  3 UW offensive linemen who all could be drafted this year decided to return for their senior years so they could be a part of what figures to be a great offense next year. Always gratifying to see. Have loved seeing all of our seniors here over the years.

  It is the 4/5 year guys that allow us to define the Streak in the spans of 4 “generations” of players: Kleinmann overlapped Releford who overlapped Lucas/TSelf who overlapped…Lightfoot who, when he gets his 4th or 5th ring, will overlap someone we have never heard of.

  @mayjay Simien has a son that is about 8 and Moody married in 2007 and has 3 sons with oldest being likely around 9 or 10? This is as much info as I could find on some of the payers from the earlier teams.

  @BShark FWIW, I found his stats at San Barnardino: Looks like he did okay when he did play but not great. I just hope he took some advantage of the education. Maybe he got cut short by another injury.

  @jaybate-1-0 Not to mention that Newman was in foul trouble in the first. I thought for sure we were gonna have a Sam sighting, but then Marcus put the hammer down with that wickedly awesome tomahawk slam, and that was that. Most remarkable of the 14 for sure, and so fun to see the ball bounce the right way for Devonte.

  Money is in the big contracts players stand to get, and agents want to get their 10%. The investigation could well be helped by agents tired of losing client opportunities to the crooks. I really don’t see any chance the Fibbies are doing anything except pulling loose threads and having fun seeing what unravels. These types of investigations are exciting in their own right–no reason to let Yahoo and company create an air of corruption among the investigated AND the investigstors.

Crimson: I read something, and I cannot remember if online or in the paper, that the banned substance Trier had in him is stored in the fat cells and that is how it can stay a long time. I also erred in earlier post in saying he took it once; commentators actually said he did not know how it got into his system. The article said that if he had been re-using, the amt found would have been much greater than the trace amt which just now turned up. That is why it is suspected to be a release from fat cells. How long and how many times could this happen to him? This actually should be a great cautinary teaching point, not only in that Trier is a likely candidate to play in the NBA and could/will be subject to continued testing, but what is the potential effect on his health, having this in his body perhaps indefinitely?
